    Never too early!

I'm guessing we'll be signing that South African midfielder, provided he qualifies for a work permit by January.

interesting, because we attemptedto get another bafana bafana player at last months deadline but couldn't because of permit issues.

For what it's worth. Would seem to lend some weight to the earlier rumblings.

with Skirtel down this past weekend with ACL problems, I don't think the Scourcers will be letting Sami go.

For Dempsey's sake, I don't care who he plays for, as long as he plays.

Everybody duck the wrath of Mike cannot be far off ...............! Some of these web sites should come with threat warnings like we have for terrorism only plainer. Tribal Football for instance could come with a "Don't post this crap on FUSA or you'll piss American Mike off!" warning.

Fulham can't/won't get rid of both Bullard and Dempsey.

Beckham Loan to Fulham? Someone said this yesterday on WSD...

Would make sense due to the London aspect, and also that Fulham has historically been a sort of a club for aging England Internationals.

But he probably thinks he is better than a club that may be fighting relegation - again.

The "Beckham Loan" joke has been going around since he signed his contract with MLS er ah The Galaxy. It started "because he wants to get a chance to play on the national team." It continues because sportswriters are too lazy to actually find out news. The last thing Becks needs is a relegation fight.

I do not believe that Beckham will go to Fulham, but I do not think he will stay in LA.

Maybe a loan - maybe a permanent move... But I will be fairly surprised to see him at Qwest Field losing to Seattle FC next season.

I always liked the "ZOMG BECKHAM TRAINING WITH ARSENAL!!!" stories that people always freak out to every offseason. What is he supposed to do to stay fit?

He played against Wales recently and he's a Chelsea youth product. Poaching the big 4 youth is fine by me.

    Anybody seen him play?
