internet dating

Has anyone tried this? My friend and i were really bored at work and put up an ad on craigslist...realistic one though, discussing my large gut, problem with flatulence, bad manners and general lack of charisma and intelligence

i'm not sure anyone on here has read dating personals

so full of shit, and so much cliche crap in them...they're really amusing to read when you get bored at work...more so than the politics forum here.

I've done more internet dating than I care to admit over the course of the last 5-6 years... actually had some long (9-12 months) relationships out of the deal... and lots of, um... fun...

You just have to be picky... and see the signs EARLY... lots o' nutcases but lots of good ones, too... and maybe a few horny ones, too... not that I'd know, of course *insert devil face here*

Most of the responses i got from teh craiglist thing were totally bizzare like the one i posted here. Another was angry that i was "treating internet personals like a joke"
