Imus aftermath... Russell Simmons sees it!

    As Ed Morrisey says:
    But, of course, it comes down to whether the true pimps and whores of the industry - the labels- want to go along with it.

    Actually, the BEST thing possible to "git 'er done" would have been for Imus to have been ignored and every other old whitebread shock jock and stand-up to start using the vernacular, in full.

    Wondering if you saw the current episode of REAL Sports on HBO this month. As part of his closing comments, Bryant Gumbel lumped Imus, Nifong, and PacMan Jones together -- or rather lumped the responses to their transgressions together -- and said that, for at least one week in this country, there was some accountability for words and deeds.
