Airness is having a laugh with this kit delay! They have been making kits for top flight teams in France for years and they can't get this right. I don't blame Fulham in anyway, and atleast they are being upfront with us.

Luckily, Airness only makes the kits and the rest of the merchandise is made by other companies that Harrods uses.

In the end, lets hope we drop Airness and I'd like to see Adidas have a go at the kit, they seem to be making some good kits around the league.

Uh-oh, Mike is going Friedel on us.

I still feel it's a bad omen not to have kits ready for your fans before the season kicks off. :(

What's MORE worrying is how bad the quality must be if Fulham, under the circumstances, rejected it.

Unless they had help from Harrods buying staff.

    So much for EU-made quality.

    Ha! You caught that!

Don't worry, I still sound very, very American (New Yorkian) and I will not be pulling a Friedel!

Kitgate is such a joke, but not funny.

Saw in interview with Friedel about his soccer academy in Ohio or somewhere, and all I could think was, holy crap, how long has this guy been in England?

Mikey... seen it before, I fell into it in the four months I was in London.. a curse for those with 'flat' or 'neutral' American accents.

The test is whether you revert to Yank after six months or so.

No worries, Mikey. I had the same problem after living there for two years, and went to a primary school there (a bigger problem if you ask me, I still got mixed up on the spellings sometime afterwards). All our relatives made fun of my parents for having an "English daughter" on their return to the States.

I spent one semester in Aberdeen, Scotland and I still occasional spell things the Brit way (eg- colour, defence, realise) without thinking about it. It's weird.

Re: RE: Air'mess' kit......a month later

Dude. Why do you have to drag my grandpappy in to this??!!

Air'mess' should be droped immediately and lets hope there is something in the works and we are just trying to find a replacement. I would buy a kit, every kit, just out of spite.

Fulham has done the right thing here and I hope it all gets solved ASAP.

    RE: Re: RE: Air

I cancelled my order for 3 reasons. One, I'm not going to have my money going to a jersey that comes undone by a single thread pull. Second, two delays is too much to put up with. Third, I'll be in London before it ships to me. Plus, it's a small protest of sorts--Airness has got to go.

As much as I would like to get my kit, I am thinking of cancelling my order too. I don't want the club or Airness think they can get away with this bull****.

I just ordered last year's red kit from Kitbag:

    http://www.kitbag.com/stores/kitbag_4_5 ... d=606&tid=

I'm also considering cancelling my order. I think I might wait and see how they end up quality wise. Also, I'd like to get the black kit if it ever makes it to the Fulham store.

I like the design of this year’s kit so I’ll hold off until October. It’s still early, its not like the season will be half over. That being said any more delays and I’m out.

Well, I ended up cancelling my order for the new kit. I'm going to wait and see how it goes. In the meantime, last year's red kit should be arriving this week. Can't wait!

Well, the red kit is here but it is WAY too small. Nowhere on the kitbag website did it indicate that this was a slim fit. Even on the size chart, it only lists the Everton kits as slim fit. So, I'll have to pay the costly return fee. I'm quite annoyed. So, as a warning, THE FULHAM AWAY KIT 2005/6 IS SLIM FIT.

Just to add to the confusion I got an email today saying that my order has been refunded. That’s great and all, but I didn’t cancel my order! I give up.

I still have my order in with them, so I should be getting one. However, didn't some of you mention that your order was cancelled on you? I'll probably call to make sure my order is still in there.

I am still waiting for the long sleeve home kit I ordered months ago. I am resigned to wearing my fulham usa shirt (which isnt bad) to the pub, while everyone else has jersey's of their favorite team. It's very frustrating and this is the only place I can vent, one day I will own a Fulham jersey.
