Mr. Ward Prowse for me. He will be moving to stay in the Prem. Here's why:
    1. Dead-ball specialist; the best in EPL and World Cup
    2. Perfect captain to replace Reeeeeeem, who probably won't be back to starting.
    3. With an active England international on our side, we might get a bit more respect.

    next!

My wish? Keep Palhinha on the roster! This season would have been WAY different without him. I suppose he has a price, but I have trouble imagining it.

As for Ward-Prowse, he is spectacular on the dead ball, but I worry he doesn't bring enough to the rest of the game. However, I'd be happy to have him especially with the affinity Silva has shown for putting together set plays.

I want the current intonation of Rory Delap…whomever that is, to throw the ball into the opponents’ six yard box from the bloody touch line.

Keep Palhinha and Pereira. Sign Wilian for another year. Find a way to get Solomon (the brass fooled themselves on this one). Keep everyone else, in fact, except for the loan players (other than Solomon). Sign quality competition for Jedi and Tete. Sign another quality CB. Find a way to let Vinicius, Mbabu, and Muniz go without losing too much money. Sign a better competitor for Mitro.

What @daddude7 said. If Mitro is our guy we need a very capable backup because Mitro will miss 25% of the season due to injury and suspension. Yesterday proved more suspensions are inevitable.

I used to think Bartosz Bialek, on loan at Vitesse last season from Wolfsburg, was going to be the next Lewandowski, but his development has stalled. Still, he might be worth a look. Should we assume none of the academy strikers showed enough to convince Silva, or will a couple of them get a shot in the preseason? Elsewhere in England, Ben Brereton from Blackburn has played primarily on the left, but he's shown himself capable leading the line, too--though, he'd be expensive. If we do have money to spend, Elye Wahi from Montpelier could be interesting. Habib Diallo from Strasbourg would be a more experienced option with a greater track record but not as much upside. I am excited to see what this summer brings, but I'm also anxious about losing key players.
