Happy Birthday to Deuce. His age or perceived age might be the thing that keeps the big boys from calling and offering the kind of money that would make the club stop and think.

 

Looks like that is in the works. From the article below, he's currently signed through the end of next season and the club is looking to add another year to that.

Yes, Happy birthday Deuce. I'm not optimistic about Clint finishing his career here since he seems adamant about living out his dream of playing in the Champions League one day- but hopefully, he'll give us 3 or 4 more years and then leave England for a top club elsewhere in Europe to give them some depth and get a few substitute appearances in the CL before he calls it a career. I hope that's how it goes if he leaves anyway, I couldn't bear to see him suiting up for a Big Four club* (* or Man City or Spurs... or honestly, any other English top flight club).
