Being a person who never buys Sony, I'm just now getting into this game.

It's got a great mix of songs that almost anyone can appreciate.

    Some 80's classics like:

Sweet Child O' Mine (Guns N Roses)
You Really Got Me (Van Halen version)
    Mother (Danzig)
    Crazy on You (Heart)

    Some 90's hits:

    Possum Kingdom (The Toadies)
    Heart Shaped Box (Nirvana)
    Stop (Jane's Addiction)
Trippin' On a Hole in a Paper Heart (Stone Temple Pilots)
    Them Bones (Alice in Chains)

    And some classic classics:

    Hush (Deep Purple)
Message in a Bottle (The Police)
    War Pigs (Black Sabbath)
Can't You Hear Me Knockin'? (The Rolling Stones)
    Free Bird (Lynyrd Skynyrd)

78 songs total on the 360 version (for complete track listing,

I haven't had this much fun with a game in quite a while... and it's something that everyone wants to pick up and try, because there is at least ONE song in this game they like...

How are you playing the 360 version if you bought a Sony? Or did it just come out for XBox? I only have the wii, but I've seen someone playing GH2 in the store, and it looks like great fun.

    But damn, it's expensive too!

Xbox 360 isn't made by Sony, It's made by Microsoft. Sony makes the Playstation consoles... I've never owned a Playstation (any version)

And yes, it did come out on the 360 about a month ago.

What's amazing is it's addictiveness. Even people who don't like games want to play this one. It is a bit on the expensive side, but it's justified if you consider the price of a game plus a controller....

How is the Wii treating you? I've always had a soft spot for Nintendo. The NES was my second gaming console, and I've owned every Nintendo Console and handheld since (aside from the Wii and the failed Virtua-Boy) ... I'll probably get a Wii when the price drops, $250 seems like a lot of money to spend on a console that isn't much more powerful than the original Xbox or Gamecube, (you can get either of those for under $100 now, though production has stopped on the Xbox)

I love the game, but unfortunately haven't been able to play in a long time. (it is my roommates game not mine) The songs are better on the first GH, but the options are unbelievable on GH II.

Kind of bummed I stumbled upon this thread...makes me miss rocking out to the Police "Message in a Bottle".
