Hi to all my Fulham friends-
I finally decided to join the fun. I have been lurking for awhile.
I have been a Fulham fan for about 6 years now (funny story).
I am glad to follow a team with "grit", when most professional sports (especially in the States) is all about "look at me", which I hate...

To answer your questions... I found FulhamUSA from the Fulham website (I said I was a lurker). On how I came to follow the Whites (I'll try to keep it brief). A friend of mine went to London a few years ago and had planned to go to a EPL match. He bought a Fulham shirt to wear to a match, the next day the guy at the front desk found him tickets to a play which was the same day. He would rather go see....... CATS (go figure). When he got home, he knew I was a big Football/Soccer fan and he just gave it to me, because he didn't want it. That made me dig deeper to find out as much as I could about Fulham and became an instant fan. (OK too long)
Since my Dyna-Quakes left my full football focus is Fulham.

I went to a SABR (Society for American Baseball Research) National Convention in San Mateo in 1999 (at the Marriott as I recall). Nice place.

 

Yes, it is nice. I walk my dog by there all the time.

 

Fulham games on TV. Where?

I'm in the bay area about once a month and when it's Champions League or Euro 2006 you can find places to watch the matches. But where do you go on a regular weekend in the Eastbay to see The Whites?

That's a tough one, Scott. There are plenty of places in SF that regularly show EPL games every weekend, but even though I was in Berkeley for 5 years before moving to the city, I can't think offhand of anywhere over there where the games are shown on a regular basis.

You might have to start by searching out the pubs in the area you stay that style themselves British or Irish, and call them directly to see if they show matches. Best of luck!
