GOP Candidate 2012

    The man is brilliant. The magazine interview is no oversight. It's designed to get him fired. Here's what'll happen next:

    1. The good general will take immediate retirement.
    2. The GOP and Fox News et al will scream about him being fired for not bending over for the politics of the incompetent Obama administration.
    3. Unless they are still committed to Sarah [the joke] Palin as their savior, Fox news will sign the good general to a very well paid job.
    4. He will immediately become the front-runner for the GOP nomination for president.

    And, if that's the case, I have no problem with that. He's easily capable of doing a better job than either George W. Bush or Barack Obama has done. He's shown that he's creative, that he works well within a team structure, that he can marshal resources, that he's not afraid of thinking "outside the box," and that he can administer large groups of people, and even lead.

    Let's hope he doesn't pick some backwoods bimbo as his VP candidate.
