    Bease sets em straight

I think everyone should be very proud of our man Bease for scoring the winner and sticking it to the bastards. No better response.

Spot on...Zeta = racist bullshit and bush league fans, no less during a match in professional football's biggest tournament. Beasley kicks ass.

Yeah, the manager is liking him and I think the SPL will make hima more physical player which will be great for the USMNT.

Good for him. I was a bit behind the curve, so I just learned he was playing for the Rangers.

As Wonsan said, any experience learned playing for great teams can only help us on the USMNT.

Looks like he had some shots on goal and an assist in the SPL game today, all while playing the full 90. If he keeps this up, Rangers will have some strong offers for him in December - there are just not that many quality Left Wingers.

He is nearly exactly where he should be.

God, karma, whatever you believe in, he deserves his position. He will only get better, as long as he doesn't fall into a trap (set by easy vices). I anticipate more meat on Beasley's frame, a learned toughness, and no ore lame excuses.

'Mon the Hoops!!(1-4 winners today, by the way) But 'Mon Beasley, also!

Yeah, I heard some pundits say it was a mistake to go to the SPL due to the physical style of play. I think it'll be good for him to learn to deal with that - it should make him tougher and more marketable abroad.
His speed should make him really stand out there as well.

Way to go Run DMB! It's always a thrill to see our Yanks make big contributions like that.

Shiner Bock is one of the greatest beers ever made, by the way!

Disappointing, but I'm not completely surprized. He's seemed banged up lately, I wonder if it is at all a cumulative injury. He's one of my favorite players. I hope he's back for WC qualifying.

I'm always sorry to see any talented player injured, but especially so this time. I've always had a lot of time for Da Beas.

fwiw, he seemed to be doing very well for himself, getting used to the rough-and-tumble nature of the SPL. Of course, he was doing it for the wrong team in the city of Glasgow, but he looked impressive nonetheless.

Best of luck during the recovery process, from a Hoops fan

I believe this to be so, and that's why you see some of our better USMNT getting better. This is why Landycakes position on the US team is in danger. In the South Africa game, did anyone miss him?

Fernando, I actually missed him. I left that game wondering, especially in the second half, how many more opportunities the US would have had.

Wow, only four months? That seems pretty fast for an ACL -- I hope he's careful

I am surprised for a player of his size and stature he has avoided serious injury for so long. Hope he continues to recover with blinding speed. USMNT needs you.
