Nice one Nev, but it's missing Kermit's sweet, sincere voice.

    Muppet videos are ALWAYS great!

Here's my contribution, Sammy Davis Jr.:

Yes, I really do have a place on the East Side and am actually moving there (one day soon!!!) from Queens, just like the Jeffersons.

A deluxe apartment in the sky? Nice job, RDG. And one of the best TV intros ever.

    80s are in vogue tonight:

Wellllllll, not exactly dee-lux, but I do have a terrace on First Ave., which is perfect for watching the marathon (or just having a wee drinkie!)

I think Nick M has moved to the same area of the world, too, as well as having moved from Queens.

    Congrats, RDG.

On a sadder note, RIP Donald "Duck" Dunn.

    Good pick, Nev.
My thinking.. "they also serve who lay down the good bass licks!"

Do a search, almost everything comes up with Cropper.

But you get the idea of his influence from - of all places - his wiki.

As a guy who grew up on Memphis sound, there's only three necessary instruments in a band: 2 guitars and a Hammond B.. Drummer's a good thing but if he's out sick or with the DT's - Wing It!

Hi this is Clevelandmo checkin' in and spinning some tunes for you just before midnight here on the north coast. Here's a little tune to take you back and at the same time fast forward you to the doom awaiting the US national team under a misguided kraut who pretends to be enlightened.

Ominously, one of the guys who died was from Bradenton, FL

Wow, how sad. Disco was never bad or stupid when Donna was singing it. I have a lot of really great childhood memories to the tune of her music. RIP.

Just a nasty funk in this tune - RIP. That dude in the white suit is a bit interpretive.

Gotta have that backbeat, 'fog, in my opinion. But, the organ always adds a fantastic layer. In fact, just loaded my grandma's old Hammond B into my cousin's pickup to move to his studio - damn, that thing was heavy. Been on a Stax kick lately, well, you know why.
