Why was anyone surprised by yesterdays non event, it is A typical nearly end of season slog fest between two clubs going nowhere, and nothing to really play for except staying just out of the relagtion dog fight that is about to commence in all its verosity. CC and the club were only too pleased to get a point there, that point is crucial, it means Charlton who are the obvious team that everyone down there is looking at, now have to get 4 results to pass us out of 9 games left, another win by us and they need to win 5 games, because they all believe the hammers and Hornets are goners, although if the refs keep helping the Hammers like yesterday they might survive as well. Every game against Wigan as been like this dour and a battle and hardly any football played, CC keeps picking the same line up, and it is one that keeps the team in the game, while not ever really threatening to win, its the line up you have got to expect away from home, the trouble is he plays it at home as well right now, once he feels we are safe the guys like Dempsey will get their chance. But lets get real CC said the goal of this squad this year was top ten, he continued that theme until a few games ago, even while everyone around him knew that it looked like our performances were dragging us into the bottom 6. He now seems to have dropped that, and accepted the fact he as failed along with the team to acheive this seasons goal, and dont expect any real Arsenal or Chelsea performances until we are considered safe, and lets be honest this squad is fair to bad.

I agree...We're playing it too safe and playing not to lose. But for the love of God, we have to get atleast one shot on goal. That's just terrible.

While being on the left coast has its disadvantages (especially w/the 5 AM Sat. KO), this game was mercifully over before I got back from my daughter's game. Taking a look at the Offal board you'd think that the sky was falling and relegation was a 50/50 proposition. While the fans have every right to vent (especially after by all accounts a dreary performance), a point on the road isn't a total disaster. I'm curious to see what the tone of the fans would be had it been a 2-2 cracker.

On the bright side, the Whites seem to be getting Pompey at the right time. Just hoping to see Dempsey, Rout, or Claus get a run.

I am realy disapointed by the effort, and also by seeing depsey left on the bench. We spend many millions on him, he needs to play and produce. I understand leaving rout on the bench. He most likely will not be back so I say play the players you expect to have next year so they can get on the same page. We need 2 more wins. Hopefully we go out and grap the pompey game by the next and produce a victory. Our close of the season looks tough and the last thing we need is to try and beat liverpool in our last home game to stay in the prem. Maybe this was just the weather. the aresenal everton game looks horrible.

Did not watch highlights as I don't want to be depressed and end up joining the 'Coleman out brigade'. Any points gained is still a bonus

It wasn't the fact that we 'just' got a point that made the math disappointing, it was the lack of effort to win the game. We went in for a point and we got it.

With that said, it was a point gained...bring on Pompey

I had the misforture to see this game and it's one of the worse I've seen in nearly 50 year's of watching Fulham
I haven't gone to many of our away games as 1. they cost a lot of money, 2 Fulham are far to negative. The chairman provided free transport and tickets were only £17 so I gave it a try, just wish I hadn't bothered because although it was wet and cold something I can put up with, the football was non exsistant .

I love watching Fulham but they can be very boring at times, and this was one of them. Lots of other fans felt the same and the team was booed off at the end. 90 minutes and not one shot on target, oh well Montella should be back next game and hopefully Dempsey
