It's great to see all the excitement and optimism. Now my questions is will it all come crashing down against Middlesbrough? Are we going to come out and lay an egg? I'm so excited for this match as I know you all are and am predicting a 3-1 Fulham victory. COYW!!!!!

I am so worried because last year Fulham had an infuriating tendency to play down to bad teams' level, and I definitely think Boro are a team they should beat (especially since it's a home match). I've got this horrible mix of terror and wild optimism! :)

I just saw the details about FSC Broadband and I am a bit disappointed the match isn't being shown live, rather on a 12 hour delay. I had no problem paying the $4.99 for the match, but a 12 hour delay... no way I'm paying for that.

Does anyone have a P2P, Sopcast or anything like that available that will pick up the live feed of the match?

They are definitely playing with a monster presence and purpose on the pitch this season. I am just happy the lads were able to string together another strong performance and get the 3 points! Any word on how long Niemi is out for? Don't get me wrong I think Warner has played really great minus the mishap against Bolton.

This match will be very interesting. As someone eluded to above, Fulham has had a tendency to play down and up to its competition. On paper, Fulham is clearly the better side agaisnt Boro. But unfortunately, matches are not won and lost on paper.

Fulham must come out with the same kind of energy as we have seen from them the last two matches. I would think Kamara is going to get a start Saturday with Healy alongside him. I think these two could make a fire and ice combination that will work well together.

Boro has struggled in their first two games losing at Blackburn ans at home to Wigan. If Fulham does want other non-Fulham supporters to start giving them some respect, they must win matches like this on Saturday.

Thank you much Nick. Those threads slipped my mind. I've sent a PM out for some help in this matter. Not too streaming or sopcast savvy...

Lawrie should rest some of the players who have played full 90s the first two games, especially if any of them received International call-ups for Wednesday. 3 games in 7 days is tough enough- make it 4 in 11 or 5 in 14 and you'll start to see a bit of a drop in energy. The team is deep enough to make the changes and Boro at home is the perfect match to make the changes.

    Predicting the lineup...

    Niemi (should be back)

    Liam, Zat, Boca, Konchesky

Davis, Diop, Smertin, Dempsey (needs at least 60 minutes)

McBride, Healy (can't bench a striker in top form)

agree with Andy P on resting some players. On that note:

Warner (how do you pull him at this point?)
Rosenior Zat Boca Konchesky (don't have the luxury of many D changes)
    Dempsey Davis Diop Cook
    Healy Kamara

Mido has now officially signed for Boro and is available for the match against Fulham. Fairly dangerous attacking duo of Mido and Yakubu. Could cause Fulham's back line the problems.

I never, ever, ever want to see Liam in midfield. He defends very well and plays, but he's simply a terrible passer.

    ...............Warner....................
    Volzy....Knight....Boca.....Liam..
    Dempsey..Davis...Smertin...Cook
    ......McBride.......Healy...........

Batista- If Niemi is ready..then him starting and Warner the sub
    Baird
    Konchesky
    Kamara
    Davies
    Diop

I hate to say it, but I'd like to see Kamara start in place of McBride. I would just like a chance to see the 6 million pound signing in action.

Also ... Dempsey NEEDS to play a full game, or close to. There is no way to see what he can do if he only gets on for 10 minutes a friggin' match!

Prediction: 2 - 0. Fulham. Goal by Kamara and Healy.

    Healy Kamara

I think Diop will start to contend with Mido and Yakubu, Mido will be playing with something to prove and he hasn't been there long enough for all his teammates to hate him...yet. McBride might sit so he doesn't get burnt out early this season and Demps will get the nod because Bouazza's form the for the entire second half last game. I think Cook is still unavailable.

Aren't they trying to sell Liam? He hasn't been in either of the squads so far so why are you guys penciling him in?
