bringing back Niemi would be suicide. KK has his limitations, but he runs the penalty area well and he's quick on districution. Niemi is a great reaction shot-blocker, but he sllllllllloooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwsssssss us down!

If Gerrard and Torres are playing then I think we might really need the shot-blocking skill Niemi brings to keep the score down.

I have no idea what is going to happen tomorrow at the Cottage, save one thing...We will get 3 points.

Will it be the American Johnson this time around, or maybe Dempsey again, or how about McGod in one of his last acts as Fulham captain...oh how special it would be...

...like I said I don't know how it will happen, nor can I even imagine how it may happen, but it will happen for the Whites and all of us.

It better, cause me driving an hour and a half into the city to watch the game at the Globe at 8:45 in the morning isn't winning me any points with my girlfriend...especially since tomorrow is her birthday...

    ...but life is about priorities.

    UP FULHAM!!!!!!!!!!!

If I hear about any justifiable homicides in the Chicago area this weekend I'll have an idea what they are talking about.

Roy had a good observation in his Friday before the match interview today. If they play all of their top players, many of them will be thinking ahead to the Chelsea match at home on Tuesday. Liverpool has a great tradition in the Champion's League and they will want to be ready to win at home. They may look past us and not play up to their potential. If Benitez plays the back ups, they are going to play harder to show they should either be in the lineup or on the bench. I would assume any player on a Big Four Squad is capable. However,I think we will prevail reagrdles of the lineup if we play like last week. Come on you Whites!!

Agreed. I'm not even this nervous before I play in a match.

If we can play defense for a full 90 mins we will be ok. I have a good feeling about our chances, and won't be shocked to win 1...no 2-0!

    Today

We were hopeless, Bullard was terrible, lost the ball almost every time he got it, and when he did not lose it he went backwards, murphy was just as bad.

All season I have heard how bad the Fulham back four have been, for me every one misses the obvious our midfield is not up to the premier, we create very little, and today almost nothing.

Every time a Fulham player gets the ball their first thought is backwards, its like watching a cheap England team, Dempsey gets the ball on the right he breaks the crowd roar he runs down the wing, stops hits it inside to Bullard who works it back to Salteri who thens works it back to Hangeland who then works it to konchesky who works it up to Davies who feeds it to Healy who gets tackled and the Liverpool have it back.

Today was not the day for neat football it was a day to pump it into their box and make things happen, Fulham failed miserably, no fight, no ambition and certainly no class, this team deserves to go down, because on these sort of performances we might as well.

Please dont think Bullard will stay, the media love him and he cannot do no wrong, if he loves London, West ham will get him the day after the season ends.

But hopefully we will win more games next season, I have followed Fulham for 55 years so being in a lower division does not mean much to me, i will see them less, but in all honesty, did they entertain this season, except for one or two games they have been dreadful.

See you next season if you stay a
    Fulham fan.

This was the worst performance I've seen in a long time. It might be the worst I've ever seen. I truly mean this. For a team that had a fighting chance after Reading to play like this is absolutely appaling. With a win, we we're only 2 points behind 17th. 2 fucking points! This just proves that Hodgson has to go. He cannot fire up the team. If that was Cookie or John Collins or somebody like that, Fulham would've went all out in trying to get at least a draw. Don't believe me? Look at our old performances. We NEVER gave up under Coleman. We gave up too easily this season. Hodgson and Sanchez have proven that they have no motivational skills. Keep Hodgson for other reasons, but if he's our manager next season, we might as well be happy with mid-table.

I don't think Hodgson's or Sanchez's motivations skills are the problem. The players just aren't talented enough as a whole.

Hodgson is a particularly good and experienced coach. Fulham can't get much better probably.

I agree with AtlantaJohn in that the midfield was terrible today. Murphy was horrific and Bullard did not create today like he normally seems to....Davies, Dempsey, Healy, Staltieri and Hangland seemed to be the only ones that were working hard and into the game. Bad day. We need a miracle now. 3 wins, nothing less. Reading and B'ham can't win anything the rest of the way.

You say this everytime we lose. It wasn't the worst performance you have ever seen, I'd say we've had a few other performances this season that were worse.

I know we are all dejected as FFC is running out of time but to be honest, we should not be relying on making a match against Liverpool a 'must win'. I was hoping for a point at best.

Our players were all 'too nice', instead of really playing physical football, it just seemed that we played like we weren't in the relegations zone.

Liverpool is a good team, one we should lose to on most occasions. Enough said.

We are 5 points from safety, 3 games to go. It will take a miracle to stay up now but let's hope we go to Citeh with some ambition and grit.
