a) don't check your phone for match updates while sitting in crappy traffic for over an hour...

c) don't check your phone for match updates when you are playing a team YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BEAT AT HOME when you are hormonal and sitting in crappy traffic for an hour...

I'm so livid right now, that I just volunteered to get up at 5:30am Saturday morning to work at a farmer's market. And don't care I'll miss the Bolton match.

And we should all be on the lookout for any random acts of violence in Atlanta tonight!!!

Check the score at half-time. Up 1-0 with a Dempsey goal things look nice.

Check the score sometime during the 60's. Still up 1-0 and thinking we should really step on their necks and score another.

Get a call from the external auditors and check the score well after the match is over to find we lost 1-2. A bit gutted at the moment.

Well, we should have won. Dempsey is definitely turning out to be one of our greatest weapons, consistently putting up a threatening performance, even if the team cannot pull it out.

 

So, consensus is Demps played well - and aside from the Aussie, everybody else combined = not so much. :?:

Does anybody else think #23 might have some suitors this summer? I certainly hope he's not sold...especially if some funds are available to Roy to build.

 

Originally I was supposed to be on vacation this week and be in Florida for the NHRA drag races. I had decided not to go to Fla and changed my vacation to next week. I had debated keeping it this week so I would be able to watch/listen to the match. I am now glad I changed it.

 

3 points dropped. Also 3 points needed to get into Europe... I hope it is not out of the picture!

 

Sitting on 34 points yesterday afternoon I felt good. Sitting on 34 points today, not so much. 10 games left. 30 points to be had. Only 7 points (including 1 extra point due to our GD) from relegation. Still need to play Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton, Aston Villa, and Chelsea. Good news is we still need to play Boro and Stoke.

The remaining teams could go either way with their form being on or our form being off. Could be another nail bitter.

 

Boy that left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would not have believed you if you would have said we would get zero points between Hull and Blackburn....at home. On the bright side, it makes every game just that much more interesting. Not good for the digestive system though. On to Bolton with tired legs and bruised confidence. Shake it off amigos!
