Not Tom (just a similar user name), but in answer to your question, that depends -- do they re-broadcast the lotto numbers on tape delay? 'Cause then I'll have them for you, er, um, by tomorrow.

Late to the party, but I just wanted to gush.

Just. Effing. Beautiful. That's how I want to see the boys play. It was like an entirely different team from the bunch who couldn't string more than two passes together against Reading just 4 days earlier.

Boa Morte was on fire. B-mac was totally supported going forward, and it paid off so perfectly! Poor Radz re: his encounter with the boards (it's no fun not even getting to celebrate your own goal). But he played like a champ, as did every man out there.

I was worried about Christanval. At least, until he took two very confident touches on the ball early on, and I shut myself up pretty damn quick. He looked good, as did Liam (God, that kid will run all day) and even Zat, who had at least one nice dispossession of Henry. I really liked Brown's work ethic in the midfield.

The midfield ran their asses off, passed like they finally figured out how to do it, controlled the flow of play, and put it to Arsenal for 90 minutes. Better yet, with the exception of the last two minutes of extra time, they kept pressing, not sitting back to defend, and they looked so very good.

That was so freaking fantastic to see. It's exactly the kind of game where no one expects them to deliver, and they thumb their noses at the naysayers with a confident, aggressive, balls-out game. Nice one, lads.

Plus? The camera caught CC calling instructions to the defense (I think) in the closing minutes of the game, and it was possibly the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. His facial gestures followed by that great wink had me in stitches. A happy Chris Coleman is a good thing, indeed.

I saw that, it reminded me of the Three Stooges, especially when he did his hand to face gestures. I expected him to go nuck, nuck, nuck at the end of that.

Did everybody catch Diop's rocket launcher of a free-kick near the end? He skied his effort waaaaay over the bar and the ball nearly nicked the roof of the stand. I had a pretty good laugh at that one.

Yeah, if any NFL teams are in need of a field goal kicker, Diop put on a nice showcase for them with that kick.

I posted this on the Acoustic Guitar Forum early this morning. 14,000 guitar pickers world wide. No comments yet., but judging by the number of posts during the WC by Brits and Aussies, I expect I might. We'll see.

Don't care if this post gets any response at all. I'm just enjoying typing it as many times as I can.

First win by the Cottagers over the Gunners since January 1, 1966!!

I just finished watch the match which I had to record b/c I couldn't see it Wednesday.

    Wow.

That is the best I've seen Fulham play all season. Everyone contributed, everyone played hard and well. We intercepted passes, challenged nearly every ball and could have scored 5 goals! It seemed like white shirts were flying all over the pitch. What a fantastic match. If only we can play like this more often...
