Really surprised that Dempsey isn't replacing Gera. On the one hand you can make the argument for conistency and using Demps as a 2nd half spark (if given enough time to make an impact). On the other, you can say that Roy is a bit of a stubborn old man who's too set in his ways to admit a change may be necessary. I picture him looking a Dempsey out on the pitch in pregame warm ups and yelling, "Get off of my lawn!"

Here's the live gamecast for anyone out there who's too impatient to wait until they get home from work to see what's happening.

**** SPOILER **** DO NOT READ THE NEXT LINE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE A SPOILER ****

An Andy Johnson goal puts Fulham up 1-0 in the 10th minute! Score is 1-0 in the 31st minute.

Multiple goals (both by our 10 million pound signing right before his return to Everton), a clean sheet, goal differential back to zero, moving closer to 10th than 18th in the table...

Whooo-hooo 2-0 to the good guys in White and I am glad to hear it! Sounds like AJ is finding his form after being involved in the last three goals we scored. Another clean sheet for Schwarzer is also music to my ears. Mind you I will have to make due with precussion and wind insturuments as there are no strings allowed with the Big Aussie.

Just back from the Lion & Rose and watching Liverpool v. Pompey [BORING!!!!!!!!!!!] with FulhamAg. Good beer, however, and highly distracting scenery. Matt went into the smoking section and got the half-time score, so we were both hoping.

I'd like to say "I told you so" about the whole "AJ gets off the schneid today" thing, but I've been saying that for about 4 matches now, so not so much.

Sorry to have missed the live feed and the chat-room gang, but it was fun to hang out with another FulhAmerican at the pub.

    So .... WHO'S BADASS NOW!?!?!?!?!

Barry...I also am loving the clean sheets. I would love a positive goal differential for once and with it will come a mid to high table finish. COYW!!!

What Don and Nevtzer said. Well, that and Holy Shite, I predicted a result AND score correctly. Look out your windows for the flying pigs. Good and much needed result today...only thing better would have been if we'd gotten to see it.

Woy used 3 subs? Yet another reason to look for those flying pigs.

I'm trying to decide whether the game in hand is a good thing or not - at Old Trafford is a pretty good bet for a loss and a goal differential back into negative. However, for the moment, Fulham are one of seven teams with a non-negative GD. (Hull, now in 5th, is also at zero, but with 14 GF and GA, whereas Fulham is on 8.)

Holy Smokes! Congratilations to F5. How many people said that once he gets one, more will soon follow. Hey, knock a few in against your old club this weekend, the more the merrier!

Couldn't watch the game, had to listen to GJ -- he is just outstanding, where has he been all my life. Sounded like the engine that drives a good team -- the midfield -- was spot on today. Another clean sheet for Aussie Mark and the back line. Even Gera hit the post, meaning that in true footy fashion, I won't think he can't get the job done for a few more days.

Only one thing -- START DEUCE!!

    How did Bully look today?

Had a jumpy internet stream. From what I saw Bullard did not look good, apart from the through ball for Johnson's second. He gave the ball away a lot in the first half, slipped over a lot. I was screaming for Dempsey to replace him at half time. Even if he has moments of brilliance, I'm not sure it makes up for all the balls he loses or gives away

    AJ'S GOALS

any tv highlights? Still haven't seen the goals. Did you catch the match, Mikey? What did you think?

Thanks to LBNo11 for posting this on Friends of Fulham

Don't think AJ was offsides on the first goal; I think Konchesky's marker played him on. Also, AJ was QUICK on that 2nd goal. Just what we need.

Oh, and where's our WW this season? :?: Not a dicky bird! :(
