The one thing that is predictable about the Championship is that it's unpredictable. It's a topsy-turvy who knows what is going to happen division. Watford is a perfect example, as one month ago they were riding high and looked like a top contender for automatic promotion. 4 straight losses and the Hornets are still sitting on 29 points and now are outside of a playoff spot at 7th. Watford has been solid away from Vicarage Road with 3 wins and 2 draws from 9 matches. They have a GD of zero with identical 10 goals scored and 10 goals given up. In other words this match has 1-0, 0-1, 1-1 written all over it. My guess it will be the 1-1 scoreline, but if the lads in white can claim those 3 points a move into the top 15 should occur. COYW!!

Burn down the Mission if we're gonna stay alive...oh wait, this is an Elton John free zone.

I refuse to subscribe to a site where one is charged for Elton John. My friend Mona Lisa agrees.

To borrow a phrase from another famous SW London address, we need to hold serve at home for the rest of the season. Is it possible? Perhaps, but only if we shore up a still suspect defense, in my humble opinion. It's true, Watford were hot, now they're cold, their away form's been good, so it's a toss up...EXCEPT WE'RE AT HOME! We need to turn the Cottage into a fortress again. Now's the time to start doing it. 1-0 good guys.

Not following them religiously, I wouldn't necessarily say that Watford have run cold. All of the losses were by a single goal. Two of their four losses were to the top two teams in the table (Derby County and Ipswich Town). The third loss was to Cardiff City, who are level with Watford on points in the table. The Birmingham City loss is the only questionable defeat in my mind. The bright spot however is that they've only managed two goals over the last four matches.

Sounds like Kavanagh is back to full fitness so we might see him along the back line. If not, I'm guessing Zverotic or Grimmer will continue to fill in until Hoogland gets healthy. It'll be nice to get Burn back as well, but I'm not sure that this is the match that will return the Cottage to a fortress.

I'm guessing 2-2 but wouldn't be surprised to see the match go either direction.

A win is all I ask. 1-0 or 10-9 just keep putting up points.

Hmm...a 19 goal game would be interesting to watch.

20 minutes in and I'm not sure this one will be worth watching.
