Joe did it for me with a good old fashioned shoulder charge -- on Bullard, as soon as Jim came on.

ESPN Coverage: Other than the fact that they cut off the players walking onto the pitch, and the starting lineup graphics!, in order to get 2 more commercials in, it wasn't bad.

MOM: Bobby Z. A goal and an assist. He got an MLS assist on his own goal, too. What more do you want from the guy!?

Dempsey: On another day, would've had a goal and 2 assists. He's still our more creative player and his defense is improving steadily.

Altidore: Distribution to him was woeful, but he made something out of nothing to create Hull's best chance. Part of me wouldn't have minded that shot going in.

I agree with Andy's comment about Dempsey; he's not putting his chances away at the moment, but it's not like he's missing badly, he's missing by a hair here, a touch there. Roy is smart enough to realize that and tell him to keep doing what he's doing and the ball will start to go in.

Your dead right Don, and I will continue to bash Zamora until he plays well EVERY Game and puts a few goals away.

I'm just really upset that Zamora didnt sign for Hull he would have fitted in really well with them after watching that performance?

BTW Arsenal have always been known as Boring thats why there called boring boring Arsenal.

They'll have to overcome (undercome?) the Rams for that honor. Our Rams currently have the longest losing streak in the NFL. Maybe your Titans can play really, really badly for one game, but they lack the consistency of the Rams. Winless since early October...of 2008.

It's hard to look great against a team that played the way Hull did, but we did a good job of "taking what they gave us." I thought everyone played well. If I had to pick on anyone it would be PK. He had his usual gaffes, and why can't he get a cross more than two feet in the air? Overall, pleased with three points.

I'm not embarassed. Partially because we CAN NOT do anything to the roof, if we could we would but with the actually Cottage, and the entirety of the Johnny Haynes Stand both Grade II listed, we need to leave it.

None-the-less, I think it adds to the character of the place.

Grade II listed? I know it has to do with historic sites, but I'm thinking the Cottage should be Grade I!!!!!!

Really? They can't even repair the damaged spots? Fair enough. I'd spin it as character and nostalgia too then.

I understand what your saying Mike, especially with the way listed buildings are protected, but what happens when 10 ton of corregated roofing falls on thousands of fans below?????

Health and SAFETY Come to mind

It was good to see Cookie during halftime. You could clearly hear 'The Championship for You" after the second goal, but couldn't hear any Jimmy songs. I did notice that when he was warming up and when he came on he was looking for allies in the visitor section w/gestures towards the Hull section.

Evidently, some of our "fans" celebrated our first goal by singing "How shit must you be, Zamora just scored."

It's checked throughout the season. No threat to the fans thus no need to fix. You want to do us a favor is climb up there, pull some bolts out, make it unsafe and get us a new roof. JOb done.

As for Josh's questions about chants, here is what I heard (or sung!)

    Jimmy Bullard Bullard
    Shitter than Steve Gerrard
    Fatter than Frank Lampard
    Jimmy Bullard Bullard

    Bullard, you're an ugly C--t, Bullard <repeat to fade>

Bullard to the Championship, Bullard, to the Championship, Bullard (same tune as above)

One greedy Bastard, there's only one greedy bastard, one greedy bastard

Bullard Bullard what's the score, Bullard Bullard, what's the score?

love it. Sadly for Jimmy, he's the only good player on that team. They were shite!!! Even Jimmy was poor, but he had no outlets every time he got the ball and 3 Whites closing him down ready to stamp on his shins. Jozy had the one chance but really he had no chance cuz Hull's midfield is the worst I've ever seen. Their team just stood around and couldn't create anythign. Good job Bobby. Keep it up.

I thought they were saying "Go home to the championship!"

Either way the feelings are the same. Hull to championship, it's only a few months away.

Great win for Fulham and great job from Zamora. I hope Murphy's injury is no big deal. Greening is ok in the middle, but no Danny Murphy.

I thought the roof had character. I didn't realize people were actually upset about it.

Somehow, Bullard putting his free kick right into someone's leg -- couldn't tell who -- did not exactly bring back memories of some of the tricks he pulled during the Great Escape.
