Well, it's Monday afternoon; plenty late enough to start this off. I see that FSC is going to delay it until 1730 here in the Central Zone. I don't understand it, but there it is. I'll just have to decide whether to wait until after the Saturday early evening gig to watch it, or to listen live to GJ.

    Lineups? Prognostications?

All I can say is that this is the match I attended last year and Roy Keane scares me.

I'll be watching the tape delay, drinking a beer, and hoping that Roy gives Dempsey or Nevland a chance.

The good news is I'll get to watch the team again, albeit dvr'd. The bad is I'm not at all optimistic for a good result. There is the statue unveiling though, and the chance for a tremendous atmosphere and energy as a result.

I hope the statue unveiling helps the atmosphere - that would be great! COYW

I'll be busting a podcast out after too long a lull, so any takers?

Maybe if the Offal is so generous I'll listen to the GJ feed again.

No lineups, no predictions, I'm too nervous, and it's only Monday. What a gut shredding game this football is.

Although I will say Woy, start #23, the pride of Nacogdoches this weekend. He deserves a start.

I'm 'snap hooking' this thread back into the enthusiastic fairway.

2-0 Fulham. AJ and BZam each score a goal!

    Paintsil-- Hughes-- Hangeland-- Konch

    Davies - Bullard - Murphy - Gera

    BZam - AJ

    Woy won't change a thing.

I predict Dempsey gets the start. I have no idea who he'll replace.

If you find the time on Saturday morning, I would definitely suggest listening to Gentleman Jim. He will also be giving a nice recap of the Haynes Statue Unveiling.

Hey, Timmyg, I'd be interested in doing your podcast in the near future if you would be interested.

Well, the internationals are over. Davies, Gera, Hughes, Hangeland, Baird all played 90+ minutes today, so there probably isn't a fitness problem, although their may be some exhaustion. AJ's suspension is over. Here's my starting XI:

    ----------------------A3O3--------------------------

    Painstill ------ Hangeland ------ Hughes ---- Kallio

    Davies ----- Murphy ----- Bully ----- Dempsey

    ------ AJ ------------------- Z-bird --------

Please: AJ, don't attempt to tackle anyone.

We win 2-1 -- AJ gets them both.

I'll check out the match late Saturday evening. Don't want to get my head in the wrong place before the big gig, so I won't be joining in the chatroom or following any scores at all.

I can't watch a match against Sunderland. Like Mo, after attending the match last year, I think I am a little scarred.

    COYWsss! Do the Maestro proud!

Don, I tried with my post but it was impotent like most of my posts.

I will be watching the game Saturday night as my last, sadly, cycling century is Saturday and we are leaving at 5AM. I never mentioned to you all but I rode my bike from SF to LA a couple of weeks ago.....epic ride!

So I'll miss you all in the chatroom and be back next week, when we WILL be at 9 points!

Ridge, I remember you mentioning that ride. Was it on Hwy 1? That's impressive.

This a huge match for the early season, as FFC have to break the losing streak and grab the home points! Plus, don't insult Haynes, FFC!!! I smell another 1-0 victory...

Any fitness concerns with the squad?

    I like milk.

Like Fulham, it looks good in white.

Its' other Fulham link is that when FFC tosses my stomach around, it is something I can keep down.

Gallon of milk at Giant Eagle -- 3 dollars 59 cents.

FFC scarf for me and my son to share -- 17 dollars

Good grub for the game this weekend -- 10 dollars

Taking all three points off Keano, calming my stomach down, and having a smile all next week -- PRICELESS :D
