1st Match at the Cottage for milady and me. We'll be in the Haynes stand.

I believe American Mike mentioned he's heading to the Cottage Pub pre-match, and we're likely inclined to do so as well.

Is anyone else hitting a nearby pub pre/post match? If so, which?

I am in and am open to where ever. I would rather do pre than post as I have a little one at home. Wife will be at the doorstep impatiently tapping her foot as it stands now. In the Haynes stands myself.

Let's do the Cottage pub unless there is a last minute change of plans which I will contact you both.

I'm in Hammersmith H5. Think there are a few other 'yanks' going as well.

Count LadyDiadora & me in for Cottage pre-match. We'll be in Haynes FL for the match.

What time do folks start piling in the pub? Being our 1st pilgrimage to Craven Cottage, how early do you suggest we arrive to catch warm-ups, etc. :?:

I'd say, if you want to have a look around at Craven Cottage and get a feel for the prematch build up. Get to the pub at 12 and leave at around 2 to get about 40-45 minutes before kick off. Might give you a chance to warm up your wooden seat as well. :)

Good fixture for your first match , Pompy usually sell all their allocation of tickets making a good atmosphere at the game.

How vocal are the home faithful when Portsmouth visit? Will it be a spirited afternoon?

Mr. Clean, when do you get to the UK?

FYI Should see you at the Cottage Pub, look for a dude with a Salt & Pepper Goatee with specs, probably sporting a McBride uni. Usually carry my boots along tied around my neck just in case Roy needs me (old school Patrick Stabils or the screw in Kevin Keegans if its rainy).

I will get to the pub around 1ish. I'll check back here later this week.

Sorry I ran late and didn't make that. HOWEVER the look on David James's face after Distin hung him out to dry, priceless. If looks could kill!

Bottom line...very friendly lot there at the cottage. I'll DEFINITELY be returning and having that drink.
