Maybe you can forgive a letdown four days after securing their place for next year. The next two games will tell the story. If they play the same way as today it means that (1) they don't care if CC stays (2) they don't care if they stay, or both.

Unfortunately this has been an all too common occurence for our beloved Whites. West Brom, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Manchester United, Charlton, Bolton in the FA Cup, just to name a few in the 2005 calendar year.

It bothers me that we come out flat like this all the time. I do not subscribe to the theory that the players had a letdown after the Everton match. There should be no excuses from the Fulham camp about the way the team played.

I agree with Dave that the next two matches will be the tell tale of the team. Perhaps we will find out once and for all what this team is made of in the last two matches. However, if the trend of starting extremely slow continues, something needs to change. Both players and coaches need to take responsibilty for their actions. They need to be professional!

Wow. That was ugly. The Jeckyll and Hyde act continues. Newcastle's leader was not even on the bench and their lineup featured a bunch of teenagers, yet they still ran all over us. CC needs to make it clear that avoiding relegation is nice, but there is still a lot to play for. Their jobs and their paychecks, for instance.

All the players had good moments, but their was a distinct lack of fluidity throughout the team playing as a whole.
Liam Rosenior was by far the strongest player we had on the pitch last night. The way he was bullied by the Toon army and the referees was nothing short of disgusting. McBride was putting everything in to the game and had some nice touches in the first half but looked tired by the second half. Boa was his usual self and had flagging moments followed by some genuis tackles. Zat knight was less of a liability than normal. Van der sar is still a superb goal keeper. Radz had some beautiful moments and has been playing alot better recently.
