Same here. The last time I watched it I noticed that Clint never looked up at the goal after he received the ball, at least that is the way its seems. I think he took the shot completely blind, just knowing where he was by the lines on the field. Amazing.

Unbelievable how some fans will misinterpret a moment that was as AmericanMike said above: magic. What Dempsey did was complete audacity. Acts of the audacious rarely are associated with Fulham unless they were the work of The Maestro himself. That shot was a spell cast by Dempsey, an act of sorcery that most couldn't respond to until it reached completion. Those who blame our compatriots for silence simply do not get how special it was to see someone do that in a Fulham shirt against that level of competition in that setting and in that situation.
