Well, how much we FulhAmericans are going to be able to enjoy the arrival of spring will have a lot to do with how the lads in SW6 do for the 7 days beginning Wednesday, March 4. While there will be match threads for Saturday's FA Cup tie against United, and another for next Wednesday's match against Blackburn, let's deal with the arrival of top-flight new boys Hull.

Hull have come back to their senses after spending the first three months of the season sniffing the rarified air of the top half, but they're still a force to be reckoned with. Everything counts on our ability to boss the midfield and keep Geovanni pouting. Three points here will go a long way towards making Roy look less like he's auditioning for a digel commercial, so I'm thinking we get our best lineup out there. That is ...

    ---------------------- Super Schwarzer* -----------------------

    Paintsil -------- Hughes ------- Hangeland ------ Konchesky

    Davies -------- Etuhu ---------- Murphy ---------- Dempsey

    ------- AJ -------------- The Incredible Bobby Z ------------

Fulham 3 Hull 1, with our boy Clint getting back amongst the goals.

No FSC for this match, so I hope to be able to make at least an appearance in the Chatroom.

"May the Schwarz(er) be with us!!" Sorry I couldn't resist. 8)
Don, I think your starting 11 is dead on.
No woodwork please. I just want to see a lot of balls hitting the back of the net.

RE: Re: Fulham v. Hull [R]

First game of the year: "Oh boy, here we go again...." Now, 6 months later, if the same squad shows up for this match that was at the Emirates over the weekend, Hull's only hope is to not get boat-raced.

    2-0, l'chaim!!!

A team in free-fall facing off against the team that helped start their amazing run?

    Hmmmmmm....

Could be major fulhamish territory here, but after Hull gifted Blackburn I like our chances.

Match is re-aired at 6:30pm on Setanta, but cant watch because of city council meeting. Drab.

See all in the chat zone.

I like our chances to put 3 on the score board as well. I'm going with 3-0...another clean sheet for our big Aussie.

I won't be in the chat room Wednesday as my wife has a doctor's appointment, which will cause me to miss much of the first half. Since I can't listen to the first half, I'll just wait until 6:30 pm and watch it on Setanta. I'm always tempted to read spoilers though.

A team on the way up versus a team on the way down...

Both will carry on as usual. Good Guys 3, Hull 0.

We seem to be getting very confident of an easy victory , I hope your right , but I will predict a hard fought 1-0 win.

I'm thinking 2-0 for the Whites, with... F5 and Murphy finding the net.

My initial thought was 3-1 but this is one of those matchups where I could see it being a bit tighter. I'll go with 2-1 Fulham.

Actually my guide has it as 6:30 pm Eastern on Setanta. However if you do tune in at 6pm, you could catch the end of Wigan vs West Ham.

    Here's today's lineup [w/subs]

    TEAMS Fulham v Hull
Fulham: Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Davies, Murphy, Etuhu, Dempsey, Johnson, Zamora. Subs: Zuberbuhler, Nevland, Gera, Kamara, Dacourt, Stoor, Kallio.
Hull: Duke, Zayatte, Turner, Gardner, Kilbane, Mendy, Ashbee, Ricketts, Geovanni, Fagan, Cousin. Subs: Myhill, Barmby, Hughes, France, Garcia, Halmosi, Manucho.

Gonna try the chatroom, but may not have much luck breaking away for long.

Safe to say we have another bogey team, besides West Ham.

Which, by the way, are probably going to take 7th spot.

And Villa are beginning to crap the bed.

Not a good day. At all.
