We played outstanding and we held them up up until the penalty which was incredibly unlucky for Liam and in all honesty it could've gone either way. Halsey did what he does best and gave a 50/50 call to the bigger club. Typical, and this was the same guy (if some of you remember) who took back a penalty from us against Arsenal which was a first in Prem history (let alone the legal goal he took away from John).

I never have been prouder to be a Fulham fan than I was at the match yesterday. Sitting in the middle of Hammersmith End with EVERY Fulham fan chanting and singing because what they wanted more than anything was to show Chelsea that we can beat them AGAIN. And, in fact, we did that albeit for 70+ minutes. I wish you all could've been there...I had a lump in my throat when the first chant of "Stand up...if you Love Fulham, Stand up..." came into the stands and EVERY FFC Supporter stood up with arms raised to make sure that Chelsea knew they were not the only team in Fulham.

Look, most of us don't like Chelsea and this match showed me that no class exists at their club either with their overpaid players or their wannabe thug fans.

The ref, Mark Halsey, has been criticized in the media here for many of his blatantly pro Chelsea calls. Any major 50/50 calls went 'their' way...it was disgusting. None-the-less, the way our teamed played really was heroic considering Boca played midfield as did Volz and we were missing half our midfield.

Now I disagree with both Tom and John regarding the way cookie has been playing and the fact we haven't scored a goal in two matches. We surely can't expect to score loads of goals when the injury list is longer than ever. We face two top teams with out two or three of our best midfielders and replace them with defenders out of necessity thus we may have a problem feeding the forwards. What makes you think he is going to play the same way against Watford, Charlton? Give him a chance and of course they will all do their best to put a few in the back of the net. Trust me, its a concern of mine as well but he has the team playing as a team which at this point is a step up from last season.

Back to the match yesterday, just one more point. Michael Brown put in 100% and you couldn't of asked more of him. Truly, he was my favorite player on the pitch yesterday.

Overall, the way our fans acted yesterday never made me prouder to be black and white. Thank you Fulham.

I do not doubt that Cookie will change the way the team plays, but with a paper-thin squad, particularly in midfield, I just fear that his options will be severely limited to no fault of his own and the only way the team can play right now is the way we have seen over the last two matches.

The effort is definitely there and I have no complaints about that. I was proud watching the team play yesterday, but when it comes down to it, we were not expected to win yesterday. However, the next two matches I would say are matches we must win. I will be very interested to see how Cookie changes things for these matches and see how the players respond.

I finally got to see highlights of the match and how unlucky was Rosenior with the handball?

I won't go off on the diving and typical cheating of Chelsea but many of the calls went their way...typical big club vs. small club. Mark Halsey should be banned from our matches.

Everyone on our squad played solid and big credit to Boca and Volz for once again stepping up and playing out of position.

Zat Knight was captain and it really lifted his level of play. Niemi did what he could against the scum but I have to give praise to Brown once again...he may be a nasty piece of work sometimes but he's our nasty piece of work. He fears nothing and now will be known as the Evil Mr. Brown.

    Proud to be Fulham.

Didn't look like a handball to me, from the highlights I saw. Kalou just lets the ball roll out like it rolled off Rosenior's arm, and suprise, Hasley makes a big descision against Fulham. Not like that hasn't happened before.

i thought Michael Brown put in a heroic performance. talk about blue collar. he's quickly becoming one of my favorite players. he was everywhere on the pitch, and broke up a number of chelsea possesions. i think it's unfortunate Papa couldn't put that header on goal, because with a 1-0 lead, who knows what would've happened. but high praise for all the players for their performance.

I'm sorry I missed this one. Sounds like the team is not as bad off as thought. Hey, if Knight isn't being bad-mouthed, then maybe he is finally maturing. I was more optimistic this season for a point against them at home. Last season, even the match at the Bridge was exciting and required a late goal to seal it for the home squad. Maybe we can steal a point there.
