Went back to the highlights on the homepage. They did have that Michigan look (the maize trim was spot on, but was that dark blue or black?). I'm more shocked you used a 'pointy football' reference ;)

Just saw the highlights- great approach play and great goals. Got a little lucky that Bolton's shots were so tame and that we were playing a team on the foot of the table, but hopefully a clean sheet will build Stockdale's confidence.

That Dempsey header was outstanding (although, I think a better keeper might've had it covered) and the announcer describing Ruiz's goal as "cheeky" fits perfectly, a bold effort and a good result.

It's funny that people mentioned QPR because Gary Cahill is the only thing that kept that from happening. Bolton's back four, as a unit, are terrible and their midfield were probably worse.

I was a little nervous with the route 1 football we started with, but after 5-10 minutes, we were passing the ball, moving much better and when we did play balls over the top, we played AJ into space and let him run it down. This match was just what we needed and hopefully gets Ruiz going.

Agree about Zamora. If this is how we're going to play, we need AJ up top. And we need to seriously look at adding a striker in the window.

Don, Meatchicken wears blue not black. Nice try, but Iowa would have been a better guess.

Fulham have 4 wins in the Prem this year...and Dempsey has scored in all 4 of them. As goes #23...

Here's hoping Clint has his scoring boots on against United.
