You do?? I thought you were more concerned with Wet Spam. Or was it our "crashing out" of the Carling Cup?

The old, grumpy donkey strikes again!

I continue to be impressed at how well you type using only one hand.

This post is dripping with so much negative connotation and energy, I will gladly rest my case with just this circumstantial evidence.

Or do you think ALL of us are just a bunch of forgetful idiots?

Also, does the sun ever shine in your part of Texas?

as long as we're quoting me:

    and

    and finally

I'm not sure I see where what you quoted -- save the ticket sales for the match -- is much different than what I wrote in my match preview. Saying that Roy is going to call on the depth of his squad with two matches coming up in four days is neither negative nor grouchy. But then, who knows what fuel your brain is running on these days.

According to the preview on ESPN (http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/pre ... PA&cc=5901):

"Damien Duff, David Stockdale, Dickson Etuhu, Simon Davies and Brede Hangeland will miss the Basle showdown through injury, but otherwise Hodgson plans to name a strong line-up."

Wow, that is a lot. We really were spoiled last year with few injuries.

supposedly, the match will be carried through Iraq goals, but that's what they promised for the Sofia match as well.

If things go as planned, I'll be there in the chatroom with either that link or GJ. We may have some more visitors from FofF, and no doubt, we'll get periodic updates on how Celtic are doing.

Not sure this has been mentioned, and if it has I am sorry, but for those who have DirecTV this match will be shown LIVE on channel 464 at 2PM Chicago time.

Not sure if the petition to get Zuber on the players list worked, but let's hope Mark stays healthy. If the injury report is correct then you would have to think Greening and Baird will feature. Curious to see who gets on the bench, but a Riise (to GJ's dismay  ) sighting could happen.

3-0 is unrealistic. Which means you put virtually no thought or consideration into this match. So your score line is just a cover for your old grumpiness and apathy towards Our European Tour.

I fully agree. As can be seen from my match preview, I did no research and put no thought into it.

And you still type brilliantly with one hand.

This is really embarassing. Basel should be in front and their supporters are making this seem like a home match. I don't think we've ever sang come on fulham yet. Hopefully we can perform better in the 2nd half, but it doesn't look likely.

Looks like the lineup above has no back-up goalie.
