Agree with this. we can't keep this squad til January and expect to win many games. Our squad is small and not only that, but there is like 11 players who will be out of contract after this season. Coleman needs to bring in Midfield help and at least 1 damn good CB before the window shuts. I would'nt mind Kalou on a season long loan along with maybe Sidwell and of course Gooch. Coleman and the board need to realise that this team as is is relegation material.

We need Gooch and Sidwell, I like the idea of Kalou on a loan. Rossi would be another loan possibilty.

    Boa Morte on the block?

Tottenham are ready to bid £8m for Fulham striker Luis Boa Morte. (Independent)

Plenty of teams have agreed to a transfer fee with Steed. Boro, Everton and even Portsmouth, but it is Steed's demands for high weekly wages that is why he has not left the club yet. His personal terms he wants are ridiculous.

That article says they've agreed to a contract with Steed.

This Boa Morte trade is going to change everything. He starts every game, plays almost every minute, he wears the captians sleeve... Hopefully Cookie has something up his sleeve, with money from Steed and Boa there should be a good signing in the very near future.

I'll hate to see Boa Morte go...

According to Steve B, a reliable source on T-F-I.com, Boa Morte is going nowhere. He also stated that Steed will have a medical at West Ham tomorrow and if all works out, Fulham will sell Steed for 3.5 million pounds.

With 2.5 million pounds of that money, Fulham will sign a center-back. Steve B knows who the center back is but will not mention a name. Once the Steed signing is completed, he expects the new center-back to be in place within 24-48 hours. That is good news that a new defender will be coming in.

If Boa were to leave for that much money though, it would free up some time for Timlin plus give the club some serious cash to buy a few more players. I don't want Boa to leave, but I do want Timlin to get some more time.

interesting...maybe Steed will be used as part of a swap for Petrov. If he were willing to go to Celtic. Can someone tell me more about this Naismith guy? I've never heard of him.

    Lets get something straight.

First, I only relay credible information.

Second, we don't tolerate wind up merchants...

With that said, Steve B's info is quite credible and don't be surpised that once Steed goes, we get a QUALITY centerback.

    'nuff said!

If all this stuff pans out, it will be a good week. We resolve the Steed mess, bring in a center back, pocket a few quid, and take 3 points from Bolton. Fingers crossed...
