    Queudrue Signs!

I told you not to worry Spencer.

Great to see a quality signing like this, he is young and experienced and with 4 year countract we'll have this boy in his prime! Great stuff FFC.

Any more news on on the other player that was suspected of being announced with Queudrue?

Great news! One more experienced defensive acquisition and I will be happy (or at least happier).

Finally, our long national nightmare (of waiting for this signing to be official) is over. He sounds like a real winner. Between him, Niemi for a full season, and our other moves, we should have a much better defense.

That's good, because you can't lose if you don't give up any goals!

A quote from Franck, from the official (Fulham) website:

"My ambition is also to play for the National team, so the next seasons are very important for me, and I look forward to playing well for Fulham where I hope I can also further my national team aims."

Comment: He must not have talked to Steed or Saha...

    Queudrue Signs!

That would be my question. I'm more than pleased that we've filled half the holes in the defense, and Queudrue is a quality player, but I'm still waiting for another shoe to drop.

Tom: Signing a veteran like this makes the developmental signings we've made earlier in the summer look better and better.

    Almost not depressed here!

I agree Don. I like the combination or signing a few younger players coupled with what I hope will be one more veteran defender like Queudrue. This is a great signing!!

Wow, an actual left back at the Cottage? It's a miracle. Welcome aboard, FrancQ!

I bet we paid about 2 million pounds. The most would be 2.5.

I feel ya. Guess everyone is back to the wait and see mode on O-O. I think once a team pulss th trigger, and gets a positive result, the rest will be kicking themselves.

Read somehwere about us trying to sign FC Porto CB Ricardo Costa. Appearently Mourinho is saying good things about him and im thinking that was the freindship between him and CC we might see Costa in a Fulham kit. I wouldnt be too excited about this especially since we would be paying like 4M or something like that.

Watford have made a £2m bid for Fulham striker Collins John. (The Times)

Enough with John gossip! Besides, I would hope if he does go, 2m would not be enough to pry him away.

And great signing with the Big Q!

Hmmm.... Boca/Rosenior - Zat/Christanval - Zak - Q............ decent, but one more big piece in the back would be even better.

From the Friday BBC gossip column:

Birmingham manager Steve Bruce is persisting with attempts to sign Coventry's Gary McShaffrey. (Daily Mirror)

Bruce has also made a shock £1m move for Fulham striker Brian McBride. (Daily Mirror)

That is one of the best own goals and one horrible slice.

It really looks like it's on purpose, except his reaction says otherwise.

Oh well, let's hope he's seen a golf instructor to cure that slice and he now has a slight draw, instead.
