I cant really comment on this one considering I didnt find a feed until the end of the first half, and then my internet went out. Seems like I didnt miss much though?

But, one positive we can take is another clean sheet and we're currently 5 points above the drop -- which could shrink to 3 if Newcastle win -- 8 from 19th, and 9 from 20th. A win next week before the Christmas madness would be a good gift.

What TheOldBugger said (man, I love that username).

Just for perspective 2 yrs ago, almost to the day, the FFC lineup included:

Fulham: Lastuvka, Volz, Knight, Pearce (Helguson 90), Rosenior, Radzinski, Brown, Diop (Christanval 49), Claus Jensen, Boa Morte, McBride (John 72). Subs Not Used: Batista, Routledge.

I didn't pick up following the club for another 3 mos or so after this match, but if I'm not mistaken 1/2 of that list at least is out of top flight football. Point being, it would seem we're better than we were and a year ago, I'd have pegged today's match for a loss for sure. Probably would have predicted 1-0 loss, giving up the goal after the 80 minute mark. So a point on the road, ain't too bad. Even if it comes from a 0-0 draw.

Just finished watching this. Fulham were crap, Stoke were crap.

    That about wraps it up.

I guess I am wearing the rose colored glasses, but I feel Roy will be disappointed with the point. Stoke were there for the taking and Fulham had more of the ball, and had some great movements, but the final pass into the box, or the little bit of class needed to force a save never came...

What a stinker of a game. Am squarely in the middle over thinking if a draw was a disappointment or a good result in this case. Stoke was there for the taking.

Since neither side played well (I'm being kind), the less said the better, but...

Paintsil, what the fuck was that dive. That was an embarrassment.

Pardon the foul language. I was just disgusted.

    Bring on Boro.

A point is a point and I will gladly take it but our attack is sorely lacking. Perhaps I shouldn't have watched the Villa match earlier because after watching Abonglahor we looked very pedestrian going forward. On the other hand watching Villa pummel Bolton did reinforce just how good our defense is. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

I'm getting tired of all these draws but I can't really argue against a point on the road. Especially considering that our poor road form has been the most consistent thing to plague this club.

Could you imagine Sir Alex saying something like Stoke's manager Tony Pulis:

Hat's off to him for the pen comment.

If I go there ever again it will be to soon. A boring, awful place with nothing to do, no pubs and the locals can't be trusted or else we wouldn't of needed a police escort to and from the train station and to the pub as well. Just crazy.

It was a game we should've won...but another point wasn't bad, both teams were as bad as each other and I think Zamora being hurt was a last minute thing and Roy/team had to adjust. The highlight for me was the HUGE flag we took up...it was awesome.

    To give you an idea:
