    As stated this match will not be for the faint of heart, but should be interesting from the standpoint both sides will have the real belief that 3 points is the only result acceptable (even though an away draw wouldn't be a catastrophe). Keys to victory for our lads;

*Roy; we know that the lineup won't change (maybe Gera for Demps), but this match might call for an injection of energy. Fingers-crossed that Roy realizes this and isn't afraid to go to Nevland or Gera/Demps (and before the 84th minute)

*Davies; can't put my finger on why is form has been off. He still has been running his socks off, but we need him to jump into the play and provide service (maybe let him take a corner or two, could help him get going).

*Murphy; this matchup calls to mind WBA, which to me was our worst performance of the season. The captain was beyond dreadful in that one, so let's hope he's up to it.

*Jimmy; The goal scoring pressure is off, so if he really is England quality then prove it by being the best player on the pitch.

I could see Gera for Davies for this match. Simon's had a poor run of late; some time on the bench could help him get his focus back.

Okay folks, 0900 in the manana [Central]. I will be wearing my Volzy jersey over my Dabs.com goalkeeping jersey. Volzy has been featuring since AJ did a dick dance all over Wigan. At somebody's order [Steve, was that you?], I've had it on for every match since.

Anybody else up for the chatroom?

I hope Fulham wins this game, but Stoke is awesome at home and they are a bigger/stronger side than Fulham. Stoke has smashed all the pretty footballing that teams have brought to the Britannia Stadium. They'll likely do the same to Fulham.

Expect a draw or loss people.

I like Tony Pulis as well.

Somebody wake me up... I'll be able to watch the game on Setanta online.

If Gera plays it will be on the right, as per his recent 'agreement' with Sir Roy. So Clint either gets dropped or moves to the left and Davies gets dropped. Sorry to see Simon get the chop, but he has been out of form recently. Also whispers of Etuhu being close, so we might see him at some stage - that's if Sir Roy gets over his aversion to using subs.

I'm OK with Gera getting another shot, but his comment to sky, etc. reagarding his deployment on the left are...como se dice whining en espanol. Pobrecita, cabron.

Its gonna be tough, given FFC's away form, but I think another point is in order.

    1-1

Stoke at home: 5-1-2; 8 games, 16 points

    Us away: 0-3-4; 7 games, 3 points

I hate to say it - check that, to hear what the numbers say - but 1 point would be a really good result. And 3 would be a huge step forward.

2-1 for Fulham, I think that the road win will not come too easily, but once we get over this hump hopefully the road wins come easier.

BTW, a feed is expected on : atdhe.net

Worked for me the last couple weekends. Still might wait til the Setanta showing if the feed doesnt look good on the big screen, but that is a long time to wait!

Good point, but another stat says 7 of their 17 goals have resulted from throw ins. Delap is very doubtful. If he doesn't start, a lot of their attacking threat is removed.

No Delap? No problem. An arm injury to a throw in specialist. Pick your own joke, I guess.

I feel better about the game. A little.

Bobby Z not even listed on the bench on soccernet. Hope it's nothing serious. If true that answers the Gera or Demps question. Looks like we may have a Nevland sighting today.

For the first time all season, I'm glad I didn't have Fulham on FSC. The only person on form the entire match was Gentleman Jim. Ah, well, at least we're still unbeaten. The Volzy shirt still hasn't been washed since the Wigan match. Let's get 'em next week.

Oh, and 28 people in the Chatroom today. Mr. Fog says this is the highest this season!

I've got the game recording on the delay later but just couldn't help myself so I popped into the chat room for this one (figured I might as well since I had to come into work today, lol).
Gentleman Jim was great even if the game wasn't.
A point on the road is a decent enough result, but it's too bad it wasn't a win. It's a little frustrating watching goal-less draw after goal-less draw.

To be honest I think a draw was nailed on from the begining,if you look back at the game the Stoke fans were going nuts for most of the game because they were not winning.
I think all fans have to take the rose tinted glasses off.A point away when we can't win away is a good point.I do think we are moving forward, last season we would have lost that game and we are now winning the games we were drawing and drawing the games we were losing, thats progress in my book!

I think so, too. In the long haul, there's STILL three point involved.

We get one, deny the opponent two.

I'm disappointed in Pantsil after his simulation of injury.

Sure Fuller started it, but there is no place in the game for that nonsense.

Come on Pantsil, you're better than that.
