Wow, glad to have them but for 6.3 million I'm not so sure. I guess that is what we get for selling Boa for 5m!!

God I hope Zamora gets motivated and does the job for us!!

Seems like a lot of money, but in this world of big money in the Premier League it actually is not all that much. Zamora does work hard and while the goals have not been as consistent as we would like he has shown an ability to score at this level and that is important.

As I've said elsewhere, I thought Zamora was best under Pardew when he'd come in for the last 30-40 minutes and batter an already tired defense. If this is Roy's plan for him, I think it's a good one for him as he scored and created several goals in that role.

Question: will we correct the spelling of Paintsel's name? He's been playing as a typo for two years 'cause the Hammers got his name wrong on the initial paperwork.

For the money, I say it's not too bad. Zamora can get the job done when he is on his game. That much can be seen with his stats. Let's just hope he is ready to prove to the pundits that he still has it in him.

I wonder if we will continue to pursue all those other right backs that we had been linked with. I have to say I wish it were less money, but I'm interested in seeing what both can do for the club.

When watching Zamora play (granted that's only been a handful of times)he comes across as hard wroking, tough, streaky forward. Let's hope he shows up with a point to prove.

Don't know anything about Pantsil (whatever the spelling), but if he contributes and Zamora scores 8-10 goals that would be pretty good business.

I like the Zamora signing, but I'm bit ignorant on the other guy. Not sure what he brings to the table.

You mean you're not excited to spend £6 million on two players who couldn't break into the starting XI on a mediocre team? 8)
