Fulham Release NEW kit

I would like to point out that it isn't the first time Fulham wore yellow. Von Billy, from this board, gave me his yellow kit from the 90's when I was on a trip from NY...old badge and all.

It's starting to grow on me because with blue jeans (instead of yellow shorts) the kit will look good. Even on sublicon.

 

Maybe so, but until the day that Fulham players take to the pitch in blue jeans, this uniform will make me want to poke my eyes out with a sharp stick.

Of course, if it helps us win, we can take the pitch in a muumuu and propeller beanie and I'll learn to live with it.

They could have salvaged some style points with some black shorts, though, instead of lemon yellow - the socks are decent...

Slightly off topic but dealing with bad footie fashion -- I am wathcing the Revs- DC United game and the Revs are guilty of some fashion felonies. Shalrie Joseph has his braids in pigtails. He looks like someone broke all the mirrors in his house. And Matt Reis has a porn star mustache that is truly, truly bad. Right now, DC is running them ragged. Coincidence? I think not.

I suppose Mike is right that it wouldn't look SO bad with jeans.

 

The loudness factor that this shirt seems to possess is its most redeeming quality...

I'm thinking I may purchase one. :wink:

 

Whatever you think of the third kit at least our goalie doesn't dress like Petr Cech!

 

I was at the DCU-Revs game; we were laughing at Shalrie's pigtails the entire time. He was getting "Shalrie, the WPS doesn't start until April!" and similar comments. I didn't notice Ries's mustache.

 

It also looks like they made him get a haircut? :wink:

 

Probably the best looking yellow kit ever. They should stick to the blue though. To hell with whatever Nike says.
