Petty, I understand what you are saying, but as a supporter of Fulham, I am not one to play that. I think it is a joke Manchester United drew with Burton Albion, but being the Fulham supporter I am, I am more bothered by our loss and why it happened.

Sure... but the carping must be leavened with history and facts!

Someone on the offal complained of losing their bet on the game:

The proper response is that betting the favorite in an FA cup match, ESP those prior to round of 8, is a sucker bet.

Any reading of stats and history can tell you that.

And it is pertinent, for those who wish Saha back, as well.

Perhaps to those who want Saha back this match mattered a lot. However, the point I am making is that comparing United to Fulham is like comparing apples and oranges. The reason Fulham lost and the reason United drew are completely different in my opinion. Sure, both teams slacked off and did not put forth full effort, but there is more to each team and the reason each got the result they did.

Also, of note is that Manchester United is still alive. They did not lose. Fulham lost.

Right on Petty! Zero goals agaist Burton is bad. You, me, Mike and Cash could have potentially found the back of the net against them.
