That was a meek showing overall by what I could discern from GJ, but indeed, Fulham didn't take its chances. I blame Whitesbhoy for the loss.

Diarra sounded solid - that could prove to be a magnificent piece of business.

Today was a step backwards for sure. Didn't play well, but didn't deserve the crotch kicker at the end, either. We've seen this act before on the road, was hoping we had jettisoned those bad habits. Didn't match their energy at all in the first half and, contrary to Herr Jol's public assertion, I don't think we owned the second either. It baffles me how everything we had been doing right during the last month just disappeared. Where was Deuce, Pogs, Dembele and the rest of the cast that had been so brilliant during our winning streak.

I'm gonna write this one off as a bad day at the office, and look forward to starting another WINNING streak next weekend at home. And hope the form we displayed today doesn't rear it's ugly head any more this season. We're too good now to lose to teams like Villa ANYWHERE. So, on to St. Patty's Day vs. the big, graceful white birds and payback for an earlier defeat at their place.

This is of course typical of Fulham, just when, just when, you think they may have a season of note they throw in a clunker like this. Villa had a plan and in the first half it worked so well, put pressure on Murphy, he gave the ball away far to many times and also made some horrendous passes. Second half was better, it could not have gotten much worse, we can lament about the goal ETC but if this team as any ambition to do something special this year we have to win these types of games, a Villa side under pressure and without their number one striker, this was a very bad result. There are obviously two things that have to be addressesed, away form and last minute goals, i wonder if Craven cottage being such a small ground hurts us when we go away to these big fields, it helps us at home so much, but the last minute mistakes is surely something Jol needs to work on.

Except on the goal where he over committed and got beat instead of jockeying and staying between the shooter and the goal...Rookie mistake..So gutted after that match. Over it now, but still wanted to throw that out there, Nev
