Fulham take the trip across London to play West Ham with kickoff Sunday morning at 9am EDT on Peacock.

Fulham trounced West Ham 5-0 at Craven Cottage back in December, but I expect nothing like that on Sunday. After a good stretch of games in 2024, Fulham has hit a bit of a rough patch with 1 point from three matches when we were hoping for at least 6. West Ham have a lot more to play for with a European spot still a distinct possibility, but this game is also sandwiched between Europa League Quarter Final games against Bayer Leverkusen. West Ham will also be without Jarrod Bowen while Fulham should have a full squad. This is a good opportunity for Fulham to pick up their third road win, but Fulham haven't been taking advantage of their opportunities recently so a just a point is more likely - especially since West Ham has more home draws than anyone else in the league.

After getting through a nervy opening few minutes when West Ham should have scored, Fulham then took their first opportunity to score and followed up with a pretty solid performance for a deserved win. It was nice to Pereira get a brace (nearly a hat trick) since he's been a key element for Fulham but just hasn't been scoring much. If Iwobi or Palhinha had their shooting boots on today it could have been another 5 goal win.

As a parent who saw his kid suffer two concussions playing soccer my heart goes out to George Earthy. That was such an unfortunate close to his first Premier League appearance. Hope he's able to make a full recovery.

That was a fun one. I'm glad I got up for it. I took the boy to KC to see Messi yesterday and we drove straight back so I didn't get home until 3 A.M., so I got about 4 or so hours of sleep before the 8 A.M local kickoff.

I too was thrilled with the brace for Pereira. Also pleased with the defence. I would have changed up the center backs if I was in charge. I was once agained reminded I know nothing. Now to sit quietly on the couch for the rest of the day.

Two clean sheets vs West Ham this season. Fulham is so confusing. Every time I feel they should get a result, they fall flat. But then they beat Arsenal, beat Spurs, beat Manchester United, beat West Ham…. twice.

I am happy though. The more they win and look good doing it, the more attractive the club will be to potential incoming talent.

By the way, had it gone in, that Muniz backheel would have been a close second to his overhead kick.

We’re nothing if not unpredictable. After Jedi’s brain fart in the opening minutes I was concerned, but the rest of the game was fun, except for what happened to the poor George Earthy. The kid is 19. I really hope he makes a full recovery, and that they take it slow returning him to training.

Liverpool at home next Sunday. No way to predict how it will go because the bookies’ odds don’t apply to Fulham.

Umm, can we just play Wet Spam every match for the rest of the season?

I just realized that West Ham is the only team Fulham has done the double on this season and the only chance to do another is against Luton. Last season Fulham did the double against five teams. If Fulham had gotten maximum points, like they did last season, against the relegation squads plus Nottingham Forest they would have 10 additional points and be in 6th place! Something to shoot for next season.

It's been a strange season, with disparate peaks and valleys. A double over West Ham, lose to Burnley, etc....at least no losses to Crawley Town.

And it wasn’t just a double over Spam, it was a dominating whitewash. Both clean sheets.
    Aggregate score: 7-0.
    5-nil at home.
    2-nil at their place.
    Makes no dang sense whatsoever.
    Except individual matchups.
