We can win this game. I think we'll do it. We also don't have to win the game or even draw, so we might as well go all out and win.

What Lyle said is spot on; but can an RH led team initiate the attack? This plebeian thinks they can. And Fulham will give JAR more incentive to head to SW6 in January, and do whatever with his brother and their private "competition."

We should demand that this piece of shit ref be sacked. He cost us points and then hands Konchesky a red card for good measure. I cannot begin to say how pissed I am. Good job to the players and fuck you referee.

I've never been this angry after a match before. Farcical.

Roy and the lads have cooler heads than I because I would've simply walked off the field.

    WE GOT FUCKED.

People on Twitter & Facebook got to witness me losing my mind. This is one of the worst screw jobs I've seen. I've seriously never been this angry over a Fulham loss.

Those suspensions better get over turned.

Poor decision by Nevland, but there is NO WAY IN HELL that's a red. As far as that cheating, dirty, mercenary scumbag DeRossi.. We've all despised him since the McBride incident at the WC, and now this?? he's a diving biiaattcch, a big F U too him.

Haven't felt this hosed by the ref since... the last time we played Roma  No, in all seriousness this goes down w/the Healy non-goal v Boro a few years ago. Never have seen Roy so pissed off. The team has gotten totally cheated and deserves to be at the top of the group, not in 3rd and in serious trouble.

To our away fans, they have to be saluted. Could hear them loudly and clearly.

I wouldn't hold my breath, that rarely succeeds.

Amused by the fact that the Sky headline reads "Brave Fulham Robbed In Rome".

I don't need to see a second of lowlights (which I haven't), to know this ref was garbage. The telling stat, Fulham with 22 fouls to Roma's 7.
I hope his bribe money will go to a good cause...
    Complete crap. :|

I didnt get to watch or listen to the match but had my son read me the results. When he gave me the stats, I simply commented that it was either a pay off or intimidation. When does Fulham ever foul 22 times. For godsakes we beat the best team in the world last year, we dont need to foul DeRossi and his disgusting ilk to feel good about our showing in a match.

I've been uneasy before about my inability to restrain my feelings about Italians on this site but I feel vindicated today - that's what I'm talking about. Roys reaction should be interesting. He certainly knows something about the sport in Italy.

Finally got to see some highlights. That red card on Nevland was awful.

I was angry all last night. Even my wife and kids were keeping their distance.

The home game, I could accept as unlucky.

This was freakin' robbery. We played them off the pitch 11-v-11 and then Nevland gets a red for what would've been bit harsh for a yellow (yet still within normal bounds).

I was proud of the boys for continuing to play, especially Dempsey who was stuck up top alone.

    Yeah, I'm still angry.

    Picking up the Pieces

Let's face it, we'll be talking about last night's heist for a long time if the lads don't advance. The feeling of something being stolen ain't leaving anytime soon, so how do we make the proverbial lemonade out of the Italian lemons we received yesterday??

Taking a look at the standings Basel has 9 points w/a +5 GD, Roma 7 w/a +1 GD, FFC 5 w/a 0 GD. Needing 6 points from the last two matches is practically a given. A win versus Sofia is the first step, but the big result is the Roma v Basel game. A draw would be disasterous for the Whites. A win for either of those sides sets up the opportunity for 3 points in Basel being the thing we need to advance, and just as importantly without needing Sofia's help when they play Roma.

Okay correction - Fulham beat the team that Mo thinks was the best team in the world last year and they won the Fair Play award, they dont need to foul DeRossi and his ilk 22 times to stay in the match.

Get grip jmh where is your sense of priority?

Ugh - I watched the highlights.

Well - what can you do. This crap happens week in and week out doesn't it? There should be discipline for this referee - I hope we see something happen.
