    Don,
you should start up a thread with this very same title and allow everyone to put in their personal "it might have been" or "what might have been" stories!

Reading this makes me proud of Josh Hamilton and how he's gone from "what if" to "WOW." Great story, Don.

Dejan Stefanovic -- now with Norwich City -- is through for the season due to knee surgery. He had been City's starting CB and a key man in their promotion chase.

Stefo was a little slow for the Prem and, as a left-footer, couldn't balance Hughes or Bocanegra in a CB pairing, but he busted his ass for us. Hope he comes back strong.

    I'll be darned

    Jones Praises Johnson

Lets hope this is lasting progress. While I doubt Johnson will ever have the mettle to break into Fulham's starting XI, more competition at the forward spot will only help the US MNT. Congrats to EJ for a good game!

    RE: I

A few encouraging words certainly cant hurt the young man. Glad to hear he did well today.

Nice to see Eddie called "impressive." He won the penalty that was the first goal and assisted on the 2nd.

1st step. Let's see what happens next.

    Re: EJ's Working

I was fairly confident in EJ when he went over, because he'd said he knew the problems werent with anyone but himself... and that's half the hurdle..
WTF does that have to do with it?!!!!

The SECOND half of the performance hurdle is working to fix it. Cant tell me that he couldnt do that at Dallas, KC or Fulham.

As long as it happens, preferebly soon and in a Fulham jersey, I don't care when he gets his head screwed on ritght, that is an inexact science. How about poking one in the back of the net for Cardiff, Eddie, and doing everyone, especially yourself, a favor!

Bouazza found the net in a 2-5 loss today against Shef U. Course Pardew got sacked following the match, so we'll see if that affects his PT any.

I'm still amazed over the change that occurred in Boa between his last appearance for us and his first for West Ham. Although it was ony a matter of a week or so, it was like he'd aged 5 years. In retrospect, getting 5mil for him was daylight robbery. We should all have a bit more respect for Cookie's transfer skills.

Having said that, I loved Boa in our shirt and hope he does very well in the CCC next season.
