FSC to Broadcast U20s

    I started watching about five minutes before the penalty call. I was disgusted. There were three petulant fouls in a matter of seconds-- the third of which resulted in a penalty and a red card. Upon the penalty being called, our 'keeper kicked the ball straight up in the air. I was so disgusted at the thuggishness and poor sportsmanship, I almost rooted for the penalty to be converted.

    It is my fervent hope that our behavior in Turkey is better than what I've seen in the 2+ matches I watched in this tourney.

    While the PK that was awarded to them might have been iffy, there were two others that should have been called that were not (a hand ball and Mario Rodriguez got tripped up, legitimately, in the box).

    That said, I do agree with you and Don that I am not a fan of the flopping going around with this team. Tonight's game was pretty open and exciting, but both teams were constantly falling over on very little contact, which didn't make it as fun as it should have been.

    In all honesty I shouldnt have posted anything on the game because there were big parts of it that I didnt see as I was switching back and forth. I also didnt see any of the flopping in this game, thankfully.
