What would you call it when the government goes after a print media company on grounds that shutting down a money losing publication denies the public of an essential point of view?

Would you just call that 'evens'?
    -or-
Do you think they would do that if the shuttered newspaper had a right wing perspective?
Do you think that group would allow the NY Times to just shut down?
And if the NY Post were hemorraging money and Murdoch shut them down would the same group intervene?

If the group does that to a relatively 'backwater' publisher, might it be fair to regard that as a 'trial balloon?

Would you call someone who pointed that out 'paranoid'?

I'd like to thank you for posting the first incidence in history of the Federal Trade Commission creating a workshop to help an American industry. This meddling in business affairs is clear socialistic fascism and needs to be highlighted, and ...

    What?

The entire purpose of the FTC is to assist American business? The FTC has been holding these workshops for years? Even during Republican administrations?

Really? Does this mean that this really isn't an assault on free speech? REALLY?

Does this mean it's not really news?

Really? Then why is the far right going nuts about it? Oh, I see. I forgot who was in the White House.

Political vacation over. I'm going back underground now. This was just too easy of a lob to ignore.

Not so slow. I responded to the facts -- the few that were there. If you "read down a few paragraphs," you get a bunch of "much ado about nothing paranoia" and no facts at all pertaining to the FTC activity.

No need for me to respond to that nonsense. That's what you're here for.

    Ta ta, fellow citizen!

    You are SO WEAK!

'There's nothing there' TOTAL disregard of the anecdotal evidence on the basis of what... you dont wanna talk about it?

Better to call it paranoid. Highlight by taking Opponent position to extreme then Marginalize it.

    - One niggler {out of more than one} '..making falsifiable predictions'? dont understand that.

I think this thing cuts two ways. 'Fear of Ostracism by Peers' is one of the greatest hindrances; think Global Wormening.
