    In a way, Sir Alex did our (USA) guys a favor. Like Tom said, they got to train with some of the best players in the world, and they also picked up some "street cred" (in the eyes of other clubs).

    The bottom line is this....the players signed with Manchester United. No one put a gun to their head saying he had to sign with them. I am sure the players knew going into it that it would be tough to see first team action right away. And on top of that, I am sure there were some other options as far as teams to go to. If Manchester United is after someone, chances are other clubs are too.

    That being said, I once again do not blame Ferguson for anything. He plays the best players no matter what country that person is from. To call him any kind of name and bash him for not playing players that were not up to it at that point in their careers does not seem fair to me.
