A lesser side? The table would beg to differ.

Agreed JMH, I wrote that in that I think Tottenham thinks we are a lesser side.

Joe Jordan was the guy in Roy's face. He was a brilliant centre forward in his day and a hard-nosed SOB. Roy showed me something getting up in his chest. Jordan's a beast.

Jordan accused Roy of kicking the ball away from a spur for a throw-in to waste time. Roy says he thought we won the throw in so he passed it to Konchesky or Pantsil or someone. Jordan did not believe his story, which probably pissed Roy off.

Apparently Jordan accused Roy of kicking the ball away to waste time in extra time. As if Gentleman Roy would do such a thing. Roy seemed to give as good as he got.

Actually he didn't need to, because for about the first time I can remember, we ran down the clock well. In particular, BZ holding it over near the corner flag was brilliant

Agreed Hoppy. Zamora was confident and held the ball up well today. That hold up in the corner near the end that ended in a corner was indeed brilliant as you note.

Good for Woy -- any 61 year old man willing to mix it up with someone trying to punk him out is aces by me.

As y'all have already stated, the squad played fantastic today. Kudos to BZ's ass-busting work in the final 10 to kill it off and Hangman was my MOTM. Right now, Mr. Norway is a beast - he can't get beaten in the air, and after today's performance I'm confident to proclaim, he won't be beat via the ground either.

Mesmerized by the chemistry between AJ and Zamora. They laid the ball off at the perfect time, made quality runs and brought the wings into the build up as well. Fulham has a fantastic combination in those two.

Can we hear it for our boy Dempsey. He did himself justice today with creativity on the ball, tracking back and unleashed a blistering shot that was barely denied by the keeper. It will be hard for Woy to justify dropping him from the starting XI. Also, just checked Sky Sports and fans rate him as the second best player on the pitch today. Just behind our rock in defense Brede.

Looking forward to keeping this good run of results rolling. Anything to take my mind off the RSL result in the semi final.

Spurs looked tired... Gomes - Yikes!

Fulham looked so much more dangerous with Dempsey. Johnson and Zamora are getting some understanding - that is good to see.

But I was hoping for more from the match...

The match was brilliant, for Fulham that is, I mean just look at the stats!

    Fulham - Tottenham

    1 1st Half Goals 0
    13 Shots on Target 2
    3 Shots off Target 3
    6 Blocked Shots 5
    10 Corners 3
    8 Fouls 10
    1 Offsides 4
    1 Yellow Cards 0

The better team definitely won this one and it now makes 4 in 4 for AJ. COYWs

FFC V. Spuds - sense of humor

Another thing you really have to love about Fulham is the fans' sense of humor, as exemplified by us yesterday.

    On Gomes:

    1. Cheering when his name was called on the teamsheet.

    2. 20k singing "Dodgy keeper"

    3. The Hammersmith giving him a standing ovation when he took up for the second half.

    4. 20k singing "There's only one Gomez" and "Gomez for Chelsea"

Thanks for the hard work Mike, and that is hilarious stuff...

You get even more credit if you have any links to that vocal silliness on youtube...

Ok, so you all covered this already. Too quick to post.

Also covered, the boys looked great. Zamora was outstanding and the midfield totally dominated. The string of possession leading up the corner that resulted in AJ's goal was excellent football.

    What was I hoping for?

Being 2 clubs that I follow, I suppose I would have liked to see both of the teams play well... Spurs were crap.

I wanted a classic match and it was - as the stats show - fairly one sided.
