I hadn't heard he was linked with us. Usually, starters from The Old Firm are transferred to the CCC not to the Prem.

As an aside, Peter Storrie of Portsmouth is having Tottenham investigated for having tapped up Peter Crouch. According to Storrie Fulham and one other club were willing to pay more than Tottenham for Crouch.

Please let this be true. Please let's have somebody tie up this toe-rag thug Redknapp and make him pay for his unethical behavior.

Sunday Supplement on Sky briefly mentions it and the consensus seems to be "what can you do?".

According to the people Fulham will sell Hangeland for 11M plus Vela on loan and we will buy Michael Turner for 10M.

Is this true? Probably not because...............

We are going to make an improved offer for Uche. What does Kalu Uche and Vela have in common? They're both forwards who can play in midfield. Well since we're not Arsenal and don't want to have 10 players who play as a winger/forward, then we're not going after both players.

In conclusion, we're probably going to have Uche sign for us while Hangeland stays. That's my prediction at least. I said we should sign Duff without anybody knowing about it and we did, so I think my predictions are worth something.

After yesterday, the only "top four" side that needs a central defender is Liverpool. Both Arsenal's center halves scored and neither was responsible for Everton's goal. Liverpool, on the other hand, had both their central defenders clash heads that seriously weakened each of them. If Skrtel and Carragher are affected by this beyond Monday morning -- and I think that's the case for Skrtel for sure -- they have a huge hole to fill and a lot of Xavi Alonso money to spend to fill it.

    Take two cookies; they're small.

Gallas may have scored yesterday, but the fact remains that he's 32 years old (exactly 32, in fact - happy birthday, William Gallas!) and had a serious knee injury less than six months ago.

I'll bet he felt much younger than either Carragher or Skrtel this morning.

and if Roy puts that same rock up top it would score 25 goals. Look what he did with Zamora, the guy couldn't jump out of a boat and hit the ocean last year and this year Roy has got him in the right "position" to get goals.

What are we supposed to do with a left-footed player that plays on the left...?

I like this signing, since FSC "showed" nothing but Newcastle matches, I saw a fair amount of Duff. He was always busting a hump!

Great signing Roy! Duff can spell Davies if/when hurt, and Gera can find himself a cozy spot on the bench.

My only fear is that people are going to start picking the Whites for an even higher finish now! I prefer we flew under the radar again...
