    What are your favorite quotes?

They can be from movies, musicians, politicians, footballers, managers, your barber...anyone.

One of my many favorites..."Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that."
    Bill Shankly, In Sunday Times

    GBF,

Like the quote from the pub wall in particular. I'll have to pass that along to a few of my friends back home.

Here are a few lines from Airplane that always give me a good laugh...

Elaine Dickinson: You got a letter from headquarters this morning.

    Ted Striker: What is it?

Elaine Dickinson: It's a big building where generals meet, but that's not important.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elaine Dickinson: Would you like something to read?

Hanging Lady: Do you have anything light?

Elaine Dickinson: How about this leaflet, "Famous Jewish Sports Legends?"
