Citeh and Wigan for the trophy. There was a Samir Nasri sighting today at Wembley. Wonder if he's still gone in the summer? And who was that keeper for them today? Wasn't Joe Hart. Still think Ya Ya Toure is the engine that makes them go.

I agree. Yaya Toure is, for my money, the best player in the league -- even superior to Kompany, and that's saying something.

I can understand that after getting kicked all afternoon that someone can lose their cool, especially after David Luiz initiated contact w/his elbow, but Aguero should have been shown a straight red card for his two footed stamp on the Chelscum defender. I tried to stop understanding the FA years ago, but the fact there can't be any punishment given to Aguero and he will probably score v Wigan in the Final is a joke.

The Final will be on Fox (not FSC) this morning, at 9 am left coast time. If Wigan had won earlier in the week (twice leading, only to lose 2-3) I think they would be in the frame of mind to give Citeh all they want today. However, they blew it and now with the pressure of the 2 matches next week, will probably lose by multiple goals today.

EDIT: Halftime and it's 0-0, gladly will eat my words on how Wigan was going to play (should've known better). The Latics GK w/one great save, but other than that Wigan outplayed the favorites and should of done better on 3 or 4 clear cut scoring chances.

Excellent first half by Wigan. They're playing the only way they can against a superior side. Should be a interesting second half. Nothing like a full house at Wembley.

I'm somewhat tape delayed -- had an emergency Chinese run to make -- but if I can catch up via fast forward at the half, I'll drop in the chat room for the second stanza.

Wigan. Wow. Can't say they didn't earn it.

It's hard not to be sentimental after watching a match like that. Hats off to Wigan. What an effort. They'll likely be relegated, but they have a glorious day, and Europa League and Community Shield spots to show for it.

 What can you about Wigan? Honestly, they are so damn entertaining to watch. Thought they would be deflated, fall behind early, and conserve some energy for their two games next week. So happy to be clueless, Roberto Martinez is simply a phenomenal manager.

If Wigan can win the FA Cup, then why can't we? THEN WHY CAN'T WE?!?!?!?

Wigan outplayed and outworked City and Martinez outcoached Mancini. Thoroughly enjoyable Cup Final and congrats to Wigan for the win.

Maybe one day we'll see Fulham in this position. From the looks of things at present, it will be a long time from now.
