 HD, glad to see you had something to celebrate, great goal to win it.

MK Dons beat QPR 4-2 at Loftus Road. Arry's post match presser was classic.

Oh, look, Trotta's given Brentford the lead over dog trackers. (Insert head shaking here).

Great strike to boot. Too bad they couldn't get the win, but their coffers will appreciate the tie at the bridge.

Unfortunately, he'd never score that goal for Fulham. Why? We don't shoot, so there wouldn't be a rebound to run onto and bang home. Nice strike though.

Would have rather seen that from our guy than:

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-4-1-fulham-cottagers-1559223?

It may be true, but I'd rather not hear that right after we get bounced on such a crap effort.

Watched the Leeds-Spurs match and part of the Oldham-Liverpool upset. Good old Michael Brown of Leeds is still a cheap shot waiting to happen (of course when he played for Fulham he wasn't a hack, but provided 'steel' in the midfield  ). Oldham beating the Scousers was awesome, and for supporters of the smaller clubs that is the type of day talked about for years to come, which why this is still a great competition.

The Mighty Luton Town Football Club Hatters are hosting the Millwall Lions at Kenilworth Road on Saturday, AND you can see them LIVE on Fox Soccer Plus at 0645 Central time. As Millwall have the most hateful supporters in the UK, there are now THREE reasons to root for LTFC -- the other two being the whole underdog thang and the whole Hatter thang.

The good news Luton fans you will be hosting :eek:bscene-drinkingbuddies:  The bad news is your hosting Millwall :scared-eek: Quick, hide the women and children. Oh and hire extra :law-policered:. Hope the Town advances, and the animals that support Millwall don't try to burn the place down.

Other intriguing matchups; Today my cousin Zak Whitbread, Fulham favorite Paul Konchesky and the rest of Leicester City host Huddersfield Town in a 4th rd. replay with the winner getting to host Wigan on Saturday. EDIT: Huddersfield with the 2-1 victory, my familia Zak has picked a knock and did not feature.

MK Dons v Barnsley. Barnsley made a magical semi-final run a few years ago. While the Dons are sitting mid-table in League 1 and want keep this ride going.

Oldham v Everton. Oldham beat Liverpool last round and now look to do the Merseyside double.

Ah well, it was not to be.

The Hatters looked the better side until they conceded a second goal. After that, it was just a matter of how much. There's nobody on Millwall's side that I'd like to see come to Fulham. Their keeper is VERY good, but we've already got 83 keepers.

Sorry HD, great run by your boys.

Arse loses to Blackburn. Gooners had 26 shots to 6 for the Rovers (12 on target to 3), but lose 0-1...too bad....NOT

Everton draws at Oldham as the host scores on the last play of the match. Timmy with some amazing saves, but was mugged on the final corner as Oldham GK attempted to score with a volleyball spike, but whiffed, and was headed home by the striker behind him (looked like a handball on first look).

Unfortunately this competition is slowly swinging towards the big guys. Don't really see any of the non-Prem sides making it through to the Big W. I lost a lot of respect for Swansea today against the scousers. I hope the Davids/Cinderellas from Bradford City take them apart next weekend. Hope Luton can build on their fantastic run, Don. Tremendous job by them.
(heavy sigh). It's all becoming so predictable, isn't it? I'm not even rooting for Oldham against the Toffees because I'd rather see Everton not get screwed after the end of today's tie. The ref sure swallowed his whistle on that equalizer, didn't he?
    Barnsley, anyone?

Wow. Toffees suddenly down 0-3 at Goodison to Wigan. Stunning.

Got up and the score was already 0-3, then saw Timmy not in the net (and assumed his bone bruise was worse than I thought, turn on the computer and see the bruise is now broken bones :angry-banghead: Have so much respect for Martinez, he's a miracle worker for keeping them in the league, and now Wigan is in the semis...

the thing is that Wigan reached the semi's without putting out his full-strength best XI. I watched the whole match. Even before that deadly 5 minutes, Wigan were bossing the whole show.

ManUre all over the Undead at half 2-0. While two of the worst sets of fans in England (Millwall and Blackburn) got to sit through a doozy of a 0-0 draw to force a replay, sure Rover fans are looking forward to the Neanderthals coming to their town.

So when the "draw" for the next round comes up, does anyone want to wager that Citeh and United (if they go on to win) with the 'luck and randomness" of the draw will end up in different semifinals?

EDIT: 180 degrees in second half with Scum dominating, and ManUre lucky to escape with a 2-2 result. Will stick w/the shocking prediction of the semi-finals being 'drawn' to: Chelski/ManU v Wigan and Citeh v Millwall/Blackburn (the 'undesirables' can be interchanged)

:text-imwithstupid: So much for my view above, Cinderella will get a ticket to the Ball. Wigan will hopefully beat either Millwall/Blackburn to reach the Final, while the other semi will be an all-evil empire clash between Citeh and ManUre or the Scum.

:handgestures-salute: To Roberto Martinez and Wigan for handling Millwall 2-0 in route to the FA Cup Final. In reality in probably hurts their chances of survival with all the extra games. Would you be willing to trade a run to the Final for struggling wPrem survival??
