Doyle for Rep. of Ireland makes it 2-0!!

Oh, Cyprus 1 - 1 Germany, at the half.

Whoo-hoo, must be the only one who cares about this stuff. What can I say, can't get enough.

    TOM! STAY AWAY

Got Switz-Brazil on the telly in the other room.

I saw a Routledge highlight this morning on Fox Sports World Report. He was with the U-21s.

Speaking of England, Here's hoping Micah Richards goes 90 against Holland and is too exhausted to play against us Saturday morning. He is a serious load!

By the way, ix-nay on the oland-pay ore-scay. Tom wants to watch it "live" on TIVO later!

Poland? I have no idea what you're talking about.

Canada and Hungary played in a friendly just now live on Gol TV. Hungary won the friendly 1-0 and I only caught the last 20 minutes or so. The commentators noted that the Canadians played OK and that a number of players got their first caps for Canada. Our own Radz played well up top, he came close to scoring but no dice.

That's a nice win. It looks pretty bleak for Ireland, though. Tied for 4th in the group with 4 points when the group leaders have 10.

I can't believe Cyprus and Germany drew, 1-1. The Germans were on a roll.
