It is really hard to figure out how the fixture list looks when we do not know who is going to be on the pitch for us and other teams as well.

In going by name alone, the months of December and January could be tough. But then again, nothing is guaranteed when it comes to Fulham. I actually think there are some winnable matches in the first two months. Bolton, Boro and Man City at home as well as matches @Villa and Wigan.

I like the way the fixtures line up, but that could all change pending on what players are brought in and how the team compares on paper to last season's bunch.

It is nice to know who we are playing come August 11th, but trying to predict how this team will do is not an easy job.

I am hoping for a wave of signings to come for Fulham making it nearly impossible to figure out how the side will perform. Will there be a good team chemistry, will they be able to score goals, can they DEFEND and what will LS's tactics be? So many questions that will be answered soon.

Still excited and am looking forward to this season more than any other thus far, because I will be in London and at all the fixtures I can be. COYW.

so now that the schedule is out, i guess the obligatory question is: when is fusa/anyone else going to the cottage?

i really want to go to a home and away match this year, but the best time for that would be over xmas (wigan and spurs). but my parents would probably kill me if i missed xmas.

so yea, i know it JUST came out but what are people's thoughts? as a (poor) college student, i gotta plan stuff like this wayyyy in advance so i can save every penny.

Beware the power of the new away kit.

I think Fulham got a really good schedule. There really isn't one part of the season that is hellish and like Chicago Tom wrote, the run in to the end will probably allow for some points to be had.

Portsmouth away is a nice way to end the season as well.

There isn't a side with much more unrest and uncertainty than Arsenal

In no particular order, OK I lied. Man City, Wigan, Fulham. Trust me I hate the gooners more than any team in the premiership, but they still are loaded with young talent.

And January alone almost makes the cheap season seats worth it.

Phillybiz...just becasue talent is in a side doesn't mean unrest and questions don't arise. Plus Wenger is fighting with the front office as well. You know once the manager starts have a public conflict with the front office everything can go to hell in a handbasket in a hurry.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The matches I am hoping to attend are...

    Away: Wigan 9/15
    Home: Man City 9/22
    Away: Chelsea 9/29
    Home: Pompey 10/6
    Home: Derby County 10/20
    Away: Sunderland 10/27
    Home: Reading 11/3
    Away: Liverpool 11/10
    Home: Blackburn 11/24
    Away: Man Utd 12/1

Hope I can make all of those matches. 10 Matches sounds fantastic.

Really? Wait, come to think of it I guess it's sort of like Chelsea last year. Glad we got that straight. Thanks for the insight.

Wow, look at "phillybiz" coming in with the cheap shots. Fair enough you found one example of how money and personal gain triumph over a cohesive working environment in a club. By Chelsea's account as well they underachieved.

I knew disliked (hated is too strong) philly for a reason...

Again sarcasm looms in the air. The comment about Chelsea didn't come off as a bit of a wise @$$...

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've edited this post, because perhaps it was a bit harsh. 13 hour day at the stadium...long day.

A metaphorical shake of the hands if you will. Agreed that Chelsea performed well with their off field problems last season, but I blieve what they accomplished is an exception to what would happen in most circumastances.

Whatever you say. Only giving my opinion. the word hate never entered into any of my posts in reference to anyone here. Regardless, I'm not here to argue. However, it's a shame I have caused you to hate Philadelphia. It's been some time since I moved to California but I still have a soft spot for the city.

That was a cheap shot on my part and I apologize, but still never liked the city that much. You stated your opinion and that is fair enough.

And Eagles fans...poor topic to dip into.

No need for apologies man, it's all good. But I would hope you don't make such broad statements that categorize an entire fanbase. There's a small minority of Eagles fans that give the majority a bad name. Just like Liverpool. Maybe I'll see you at the cottage and help change your opinion.

Cheers...if you are there for any of the dates I've listed I will buy a drink to make up for my over generalizing statements.
