OK, after much tearing of the hair, i have a working prototype for a Member map using the microsoft local.live.com map technology. It is very configurable. However i have no website to post it to, so I will try and mail it to AmericanMike or ChicagoTom to check out.

Rumstove, the map has been started by RedCoat999. I saw the initial map and it looks nice. An email will be sent out tomorrow telling FUSA members what is needed from each person (longitude/latitude, picture, real name, username, etc). If RedCoat needs your help, I will let you know. Thanks for offering your services Rumstove! It is appreciated!

Thanks. I'm glad everyone likes it.

It is easier this year since I just have to update the info from last year. :D

Fantastic map. It really is brilliant. My brother and I have been searching for a map like this for quite some time.

Thank you once again, it looks great.

    Cheers

Just thought I'd put up this sticky from the club/league news Index, which is absolutely fantastic from Rumstove (where is he now?). Try and locate Kettering Town. hint: only their archrival and neighbor Rushden and Diamonds has a colored bullet.

Been meaning to post this but got busy. I had to work on MLK day, and spent the day largely bored out of my skull. Then I stumbled across this site: http://billsportsmaps.com/

If you're relatively new to English football and don't know East Anglia from East Midlands or Berkshire from Yorkshire, then this site is a virtual treasure trove of information. I only looked at the football in England info, but he's got other nations and most every major sport covered. I thought the regions info was very interesting as it breaks the clubs down in order of size (based on attendance) and you get a feel for who's punching over or under their weight. He also goes in depth on a number of clubs and does pieces on the teams still alive in the FA Cup round by round.

I use Footiemaps. You have to register now though, whereas before you didn't. It's pretty darn good though.
