I think it’s a bit premature to hand out awards before a season concludes, but the EFL does it, so here ‘tis….
Fulham, as you would expect, did very well. Four on the Championship Team of the Season: Mitro, Wilson, Jedi and Tosin. And, of course, the big Serb named player of the year. I didn’t see Notts Forest’s Brennan Johnson play this season, but it’s hard to imagine anybody up for Young Player of the Season performing better than Fabio Carvalho. I’m not sure what the “LFE Apprentice of the Season Award” in each tier is for. And there is no Manager of the Season Award. Strange. But having four out of the eleven named to the all star team and Mitro’s biggest award of the night means it was a very good night for Fulham Football Club. Well done everyone!

I agree with @jumpkutz that I was surprised to see Carvalho not win the Young Player award, however when I checked out Johnson he's had a great season particularly the last few weeks. He has 10 goals in the last 16 matches along with five assists in that time.

As for manager of the season, they seemed to have given that honor to Nathan Jones of Luton Town who they made "manager" of the EFL Team of the Season. Although I'd have liked Silva to have gotten that recognition, Jones has certainly done amazing things with Luton.
